Beloved of All
It is encouraging to hear that the Lord granted your son a peaceful day in answer to prayer, and it is a privilege to join you in asking for His continued care over your son.
Scripture presents Jesus as both truly man, the promised Son of David, and truly God, the only begotten Son of the Father. He was given to us, and His name is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, and the prophets speak of His peace flowing like a river. When He comes again there will be perfect peace on earth, but even now He makes peace possible for us.
That peace comes in two ways. First there is peace with God, which comes through His grace and forgiveness when we trust in Christ. Then there is the peace of God, that deep inner calm that guards the heart and mind and surpasses all understanding. In the New Testament grace is always mentioned before peace, because we cannot know the keeping power of His peace until we have first received His grace. As you have trusted Christ, you and your son can know both. The war can be over, and His peace can keep your hearts.
The Lord also invites all who are far off and all who are near to receive peace and healing from His hand. We can trust Him for spiritual healing and for physical healing as well. By His wounds we are healed. That healing touches mind, body and spirit. I pray the Lord will touch your son in every area you mentioned, bringing calm to his mind, ease to sensory challenges, relief from anxiety and distress, and rest for his body. May the Lord allow him to eat with gratefulness and contentment, to sleep without disturbance and to wake refreshed, and to find joy and satisfaction in his daily activities, routines and friendships.
Through faith in Jesus we are brought into the family of God. Jesus alone is the only begotten Son, full of grace and truth, but all who believe are adopted as sons and daughters and born again by His Spirit. It is a great privilege to be His child even by adoption. He knows your son fully, loves him deeply, and has chosen him. Nothing can enter his life except it passes through the love and protection of Christ.
I join you in praying that the Lord will surround your son with a hedge of protection, that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and that He will clothe him with the full armor He has provided, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is His Word. May the Lord station His ministering angels around him and keep him in all his ways, and may every fear, torment, confusion and unrest bow to the name of Jesus and depart.
I also pray for restoration and strength in the bond between your son and his sisters, that their love would be marked by compassion, forgiveness and unity, and that any influence bringing division, disrespect or isolation would be removed. May the Lord give you and all who care for him wisdom, patience and discernment, provide faithful and gentle caregivers who will bring out the best in him, and help him adjust with ease and confidence to his schedule and to time with those who support him. May He guide you in every decision and meeting concerning his care, and fill your home with His calm, joy and safety.
We stand together in agreement, remembering the promise that where two or three are gathered in His name He is in our midst and hears according to His perfect will. We thank Him for the victories already given and for the work He is even now doing. May the bright light of His presence dispel every shadow, and may His peace keep your whole household today and in the days to come.
