We join you in giving thanks to Jesus for the peaceful day He has granted your son, and we stand with you in prayer for a peaceful night and for the days to come.

We ask the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, who keeps watch over His people at all times, to keep your son and your whole household under His careful guard. Sleep is a gift from His hand, a haven He has made for our weariness, and we pray He will grant your son deep, undisturbed rest tonight, to lie down without confusion, restlessness, fear or anxiety, and to wake refreshed and filled with joy.

We pray that the Lord will quiet every source of distress in body, mind and spirit. May He calm anxiety and frustration, soften rigidity and restlessness, and remove fear and torment. We ask Him to fill your son with His peace that surpasses all understanding, with clarity, contentment, gratefulness and joy, and to let every meal, routine, activity and interaction be covered in calm and satisfaction. We pray that nothing would enter his life or body except as it passes through the blood of Jesus Christ, and that every habit, discomfort and disturbance not from God would bow to the name of Jesus and depart.

We ask for healing according to His mercy, for by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. We bring before Him the challenges of autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory distress, and pray for restoration, comfort and strength. We pray He will clothe your son with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and surround him with His hedge of protection and with ministering angels guarding him in all his ways.

We also pray for you, your family and all who care for him. May God grant wisdom, patience, discernment and gentle hearts to every caregiver, and provide dedicated, godly helpers who will bring out the best in him with calmness and kindness. We pray He will guide every meeting and decision about services, anointing what is truly helpful and leading you to what brings breakthrough and growth. We ask Him to strengthen the bonds between your son and his siblings and to fill your home with love, unity, compassion and peace, removing division and negative influence and bringing godly friendships and mentors into your lives.

We remember His promise that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst, and we agree with you that setbacks will be replaced by His blessing and favor, and that your son will know he is included, respected, accepted and deeply loved. May the Lord make him a light reflecting His grace wherever he goes, and may His presence fill your home with calm, joy and safety today and every night.

We continue to watch and pray with you, trusting the faithful love of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and peace with God. In Jesus name, Amen.
