We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift up your son before the Lord and to ask Him for peaceful nights with his caregivers and everyone in his surroundings, for sweet sleep with no bad dreams, and for rest that leaves him relaxed, satisfied and refreshed.
We have been praying that the Lord would remove anxiety, screaming, rigid habits, fear, torment, frustration, confusion and every spiritual attack that would try to steal his peace and joy, and that He would rebuke anything not of Him and cause it to bow to the name of Jesus and depart forever. We have asked Him to surround your son with His hedge of protection, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper as promised in Isaiah 54:17, to clothe him with the full armor of God and to let ministering angels encamp around him. We continue to pray for healing in his mind, body and spirit, remembering Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes we are healed, and we have asked for restoration over autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges, for relief from all physical distress and pain, for peace in his meals, calm in his schedule and routines, and grace to communicate with gentleness and confidence.
We have also lifted up his caregivers and your whole household, asking God to fill you all with wisdom, patience and discernment, to provide additional caregivers and services that will respect him, include him, bring out the best in him and help him without causing regression, and to strengthen the bonds between your son, his caregivers, his siblings and your extended family with love, compassion and unity. We have remembered your younger daughter and her dog in prayer as well, asking for restful sleep for them and quietness as she studies, and we have asked the Lord to guide and protect you and your family in all your travels and daily activities and to fill your home with His calm, joy and safety. We cling to the promise in Psalm 4:8 that we can lie down in peace and sleep for the Lord alone makes us dwell in safety, and to Phil 4:7 that the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
