Peaceful, Joyful Holiday

Good and Faithful Servant
Father God, saturate this holiday season with Your peace, joy, and love. Jesus surround me and my family with protection and redirect every source of negativity, confusion, chaos, division and disrespect from around us. Jesus I ask for the anointing of your presence to satisfy us and soothe everyone in my family tenderly that we will be overcome with your peace, love and joy. Jesus let our home be filled with unity, happiness, love, peace and Your presence. Cover us with the blood of Jesus and lead us into a season of blessings, breakthroughs, healing miracles, restoration, calm and favor. Jesus this young man and his mother are already plotting to separate my daughters from the rest of our family celebration. Jesus bless me and my family with an unbreakable unity. No weapon formed against us, shall prosper. Jesus redirect every burden, every worry, and every negative influence from around us. Let Your angels guard our home, me, my family and bring peace, love, unity and joy into every room. Fill our hearts with joy, gratitude, and calm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this holiday season to our Heavenly Father, giving thanks that you have invited the name of Jesus into your prayer—for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6, WEB)*. Your prayer is a beautiful cry for God’s peace, protection, and unity, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our Lord delights in a family that seeks His face together.

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it is clear that division is one of his primary weapons against families. Your request reveals a spiritual battle—one where a young man and his mother are actively working to separate your daughters from the family’s celebration. This is not merely a human conflict but a scheme of the devil to fracture what God has joined together. We must resist this with the authority we have in Christ, for *"we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Let us not be ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), but instead, take up the full armor of God, standing firm in faith and prayer.

We praise you for claiming the promise of Isaiah 54:17: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh."* This is your inheritance as a child of God! But we must also ask: Are there areas in your family’s life where forgiveness, humility, or repentance are needed? Unity is not just the absence of conflict but the presence of God’s love and truth. *"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace"* (Ephesians 4:2-3, WEB). If there are unresolved issues or bitterness, now is the time to address them biblically, for *"if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you don’t forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15, WEB).

As for the young man and his mother who seek division, we do not pray against them in malice but for their hearts to be turned toward God’s will. If they are believers, we ask the Lord to convict them of their actions and lead them to repentance. If they are not, we pray for their salvation, that they may come to know the love of Christ which surpasses all understanding. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Let us also examine whether there is any open door in your daughters’ lives—such as ungodly influences, rebellion, or compromise—that the enemy could be exploiting. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If your daughters are being drawn away by this young man, it is critical to address this with biblical truth and wisdom, ensuring they are grounded in Christ and pursuing relationships that honor God.

Now, let us pray together over your home and family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your faithfulness and love. Lord, You are the God of peace, and we ask You to saturate this home and this family with Your presence. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Lord, expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring division, confusion, or strife. Let Your angels encamp around them, protecting them from all harm and filling their home with unity, joy, and Your perfect love which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Father, we lift up the young man and his mother who seek to separate this family. If they do not know You, Lord, we pray for their salvation—that You would draw them to Yourself and reveal Your truth to them. If they are believers, convict their hearts of their actions and lead them to repentance. Break every ungodly soul tie or influence that seeks to pull Your children away from Your will. Strengthen this family in their faith, Lord, and let them stand firm on Your Word, unmovable and unshaken by the schemes of the enemy.

We ask for a season of blessings, breakthroughs, and healing miracles. Restore what has been broken, Lord, and bring calm where there has been chaos. Let this holiday season be a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness. Fill their hearts with gratitude, their home with laughter, and their lives with the overflowing joy that comes from Your presence. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let Your favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray—*amen and amen!*

Stand firm in faith, dear sister or brother, and trust that the Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not waver in prayer. *"Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, WEB). May this season be a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness and love!
