Thank you, Jesus, for faithfully answering our prayers and granting my son a peaceful, calm night last night and a peaceful, satisfied day yesterday. I pray and believe in Your complete healing in my son's life. I pray all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in giving thanks to Jesus for His faithfulness in answering prayer and granting your precious son a peaceful and calm night, and we rejoice with you over these months of being seizure free, for every good gift comes from the Father above. We stand with you today as he awoke a little tormented, and we bring him before the throne of grace together.

We pray for your son now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes we are healed. We thank you that you have come boldly in that name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

Father, we lift this beloved son to You. You know his frame, You formed him, and You understand the challenges of autism, the torment of PTSD memories, the anxiety, the sensory struggles with clothing and shaving, the confusion around meals and daily hygiene. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around him and soothe him tenderly. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We ask that You calm the storm within him and fill his heart, mind and spirit with Your perfect peace that You leave with us, not as the world gives, John 14:27.

We rebuke the spirits of torment, fear, confusion, agitation, anger and rage that have troubled him, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus, for the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe, Proverbs 18:10. We declare that God has not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We ask You to break the chains of anxiety and past hurts, for You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and by Your wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5. We do not ask merely for memories to be erased as man might desire, but for You to redeem and heal his mind, to replace every negative habit and behavior with godly manners and a calm, gentle way to express his wants and needs, and to give him confidence to use his functional language with a grateful and obedient spirit.

Lord, we anoint his meals to You. Remove all discomfort in his stomach that causes distress, help him to eat peacefully, with contentment and thankfulness, not wasting food nor confused by choices. Guide him in his daily hygiene, in shaving and dressing, soothing every sensory discomfort. Let every sound and sensation today be covered by Your protection. We pray for a spirit of calm, gratefulness, cooperation and joy to rest upon him, especially as he watches his shows, eats, rests, and celebrates his sister's birthday today. May he be well behaved, satisfied and filled with Your joy, and may his sleep tonight be sweet and restful and free from disturbance. We pray no weapon that is formed against him will prosper, Isaiah 54:17, and that You will give Your angels charge over him, to guard him in all his ways, Psalm 91:11.

We also lift his sister to You. Restore her loving heart toward her brother and let sibling love and compassion abound. We pray for the situation with this young man and his mother that has caused havoc and division. Father, remove every negative influence that causes division in the family and that speaks word curses over him. We know that no witchcraft or curse can stand against Your children when they abide in Christ, and we ask You to block every harmful word and let only Your blessing remain. For his sister, we pray that any courtship she pursues would be with a fellow believer with marriage as the godly goal, honoring You in purity and wisdom, and that You would guard her heart from relationships that do not honor You.

We pray for everyone in the home, for his caregivers, his support coordinator and all who serve him. Grant them wisdom, patience, understanding, compassion, strength and gentleness, for if any lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally, James 1:5. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed and give his support coordinator a heart of true advocacy. Surround the home, every window, every door, every room, the yard and vehicles with Your hedge of protection and with ministering angels, and let Your presence anoint every place he goes, whether at home, on drives, outings, or appointments, with safety and joy and without fear or anxiety.

We thank You for the progress he has made this week and we ask for no more setbacks, yet we trust Your sovereign hand even when the path is uneven, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28. When he feels bored or his mood sways, be his comfort and his satisfaction. When the winds are extreme or the environment feels chaotic, be his shelter, for You are our refuge and strength.

We declare healing, peace, miracles and restoration over his life, and we thank You for the victories You have already wrought. We ask that You continue to wash him from the top of his head to the sole of his feet in the blood of Jesus, cleansing and keeping him, removing all stubbornness, confusion, spiritual attack and anything not of You. Fill him afresh with the Holy Spirit, saturate him with Your love, satisfaction, obedience and rest, and let tonight and tomorrow be filled with Your everlasting peace.

We trust that nothing is impossible for You, Luke 1:37, and that You are near to those who have a broken heart, and save those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. Fear not, for You are with him, be not dismayed, for You are his God, You will strengthen him, You will help him, You will uphold him with the right hand of Your righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

We receive Your peace for this family today and we rest in Your love and care, in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We are holding you and your son in our hearts today. If he is at risk of harming himself right now, please contact your local emergency services right away. We hear how deeply you love your son and how much you have been carrying. Thank you for sharing both the gift of a peaceful night and the hard start to this morning. We understand you are longing for a calm, settled day for him, especially with his sister's birthday, and for relief from the memories, anxiety and habits that torment him. It is beautiful that you noticed his progress this week and that he has been seizure free for months, and it makes sense you would feel shaken by any setback.

Alongside prayer, it can help to keep his care team close when these patterns continue. If self injury, ongoing anxiety, or vomiting with meals are happening, we encourage you to reach out to his doctor or mental health support and to his support coordinator so they can walk with you in person and help keep him safe and comfortable.

Father, we bring this precious family to You in Jesus' name. Cover this home with Your peace today, calm what feels overwhelming in his body and mind, and give him gentle ways to share what he needs. Strengthen his mother and caregivers with patience and wisdom, and help them sense Your nearness through this day and night. Amen.

How good it is to hear thanksgiving mingled with supplication, and to learn that the Lord has granted your son a peaceful calm night. We join you in blessing His name for that mercy, for every good gift comes from His hand. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of trial, but in the presence of Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. This peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, for in Jesus keeping we are safe.

I hear the burden you carry for your precious son through this day, and the earnest desire that no setback should overtake him. Remember that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. The mind is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. Cast your care upon the Lord, for He cares for you and for your son. Tell Jesus all that presses upon you, not only telling yourself about it in secret, but spreading it before Him who is able to keep and to heal. He who has given us His Son has given us all things with Him.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf also shall not wither, and these healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We preach not human eloquence but the still small voice of God which alone confers the peace which passes all understanding. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one, for the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul.

Let us pray together for your son and for your household.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness last night and for months of keeping without seizure. We ask You now to keep this dear son in Your perfect peace. Calm the storm within him, fill his heart, mind and spirit with the peace that passes all understanding, and guard his heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Heal his mind, body and spirit, and break the chains of anxiety, fear, anger and rage. Where memories torment and habits have taken root, bring Your gentle healing, and replace all that is restless and rigid with calm, godly manners and a desire to express wants and needs in a gentle and respectful way. We ask for Your hand upon every ordinary mercy of this day, upon watching, upon eating, upon resting and sleeping, upon hygiene and clothing and shaving. Let every sound and sensation be covered by Your protection. Anoint his meals, give him contentment and gratefulness, remove confusion and physical distress, and help him to receive Your provision with peace. Grant him sweet, peaceful sleep tonight and a calm and satisfied waking.

Lord, we pray for peace in the home. Restore love and tenderness between brother and sister, and bless the relationships with family, caregivers and friends. Give wisdom, patience, understanding, compassion, strength and gentleness to every caregiver and to those who coordinate his care, that they may truly listen and advocate for what is best. Surround this home, every room, every door and window, and every going out and coming in, with Your protection, shielding from all harm and spiritual attack. Rebuke the spirits of torment, confusion and agitation, and let them flee in the mighty name of Jesus. Fill this household with a spirit of calm, gratefulness, obedience and cooperation.

We ask all this not because we can command blessing upon our own terms, but because we come through the atoning blood of Your Son, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Let Your will be done, and let Your peace, which is a true blessing and brings no sorrow with it, rest upon this family. May you find the true peace at the feet of the Prince of Peace, and know that here we have peace from lips that cannot lie, peace from a heart which cannot change, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement.

Continue to look to Christ alone for salvation and for daily grace, trusting Him whose Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. The Lord will bless His people with peace. Amen.
