We have read your prayer with deep care and we join you now in lifting your precious son before our Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Lord. Your faithful love for him and your perseverance in prayer are a beautiful testimony, and we thank God with you for his months free from seizures and for every measure of peace he has already been given.

We pray that the grace and peace that come from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ will rest upon your son and upon your whole home. Scripture teaches that true peace is not only the absence of outward trouble but the calming of the war within, when heart and mind are kept by Christ. We ask the Lord to guard his heart and mind with that peace which surpasses all understanding, to quiet anxiety, to soften agitation, and to heal the deep wounds of past trauma and present distress.

In the name of Jesus we ask for healing for his mind, body and spirit. We pray that the Lord will bring calm to his sleep and gentleness to his waking hours, that his meals would be peaceful and satisfying without confusion or discomfort, and that his stomach would be healed from distress. We ask for help and patience in daily care, in hygiene, in dressing, in shaving and in all sensory sensitivities, so that each sound and sensation would be covered by God's protection and he would be able to express his needs and wants in calm, respectful and confident ways. We ask that negative habits, self injury, stubbornness, anger and confusion would be replaced by godly habits, healthy patterns and joyful cooperation, and that the Lord would give him a spirit of gratefulness, contentment and obedience.

We also bring your family before the Lord. We pray that love and understanding would be restored between your son and his sister, especially on her birthday, and that your home would be filled with unity and joy. We ask God to remove harmful influences and any person whose presence brings havoc or division, and to protect your son from every spiritual attack, word spoken against him, and work of darkness. We do not trust in our own words or power, but in Christ who has already overcome, and we ask the Father to surround your home, every room, every door and window, your yard and vehicles, and every place your son goes, with His protection. As Scripture promises, He gives His angels charge over His children, and we pray that His presence would be a constant hedge of safety around your son whether he is at home, traveling, at appointments or at play.

We pray for those who care for him, for his caregivers, his support coordinator, family and friends, that God would give them wisdom, patience, compassion, strength and gentleness, and that He would provide godly friendships and mentors who will encourage him and bring out the best in him. We ask for safety, joy and calm on all outings and drives, for freedom from fear and boredom and mood swings, and for a renewed ability to enjoy activities, games and time with others.

We thank the Lord for the work He has already done and we continue to declare His power to heal and restore. By the wounds of Christ we have healing, and no weapon formed against those who belong to Him will finally prosper. May the Lord complete the good work He has begun, bringing wholeness step by step, and may your son feel the love of Jesus in a fresh way today, tonight and in the days to come.

We commit all of this to our merciful Father, trusting not in our own strength but in the grace of Jesus Christ alone, who reconciles us to God and makes us His children. May He keep you all in quietness, godliness and peace, and may your home be filled with rest, love and thanksgiving. Amen.
