Your prayer for your son has been received and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace with thanksgiving for your faithful love as a parent. We stand with you in agreement, asking our Father in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to God, to hear and answer according to His perfect will.

We pray first for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your son's heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Scripture teaches that God first gives grace and then peace, because Christ has ended the war between heaven and earth and reconciled us to the Father. That peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, and it prepares the way for love. Where that peace is present, every good thing can flourish. We ask the Lord to pour that peace over your son today, to soothe his restlessness and confusion, to calm anxiety and fear, and to quiet torment and rigid distress. We ask that the Lord would gently wrap him in His loving presence and fill any sense of absence or sadness with His perfect love, which casts out fear.

We also remember that there is a war within each person when the soul is troubled by fear, anger, and distress, and this inner war is more grievous than any outward trouble. We pray that Christ, who came to bring true peace to the heart, would still this inner tumult in your son, and grant him calm in his schedule, his meals, his routines, his activities and his relationships. We pray that he will eat in peace, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed, and that he will be able to adjust to transitions with calm and to communicate with gentleness and confidence.

We thank God that He gives His angels charge over those who belong to Him, and that each believer is not alone but watched over. We ask Him to command His ministering angels to encamp around your son and to keep him in all his ways, and we pray for the hedge of His protection around him, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We pray that He would clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

We bring before the Lord your requests for healing in body, mind and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed, and we ask for the Lord's restoring hand upon every area of physical distress, sensory challenge, anxiety and trauma. We ask Him to remove sources of pain and discomfort and to bring wholeness and strength.

We join you in praying for caregivers and for all who serve your son. We ask the Father to swiftly provide dedicated, patient, compassionate and faithful caregivers who will respect your guidance, include him, delight in working with him, bring out the best in him and bond with him in a healthy and encouraging way. We pray for wisdom, discernment, patience and knowledge for you, for your family and for all who care for him, that you may be saturated with the wisdom that comes from above and that every meeting and service would be guided to bring true breakthrough and the best care.

We pray also for your household, that God would fill your home with calm, joy and safety, that He would strengthen the bonds between your son and his siblings with love, compassion and unity, and remove or redirect any division, strife or negative influence. We ask for godly mentors and friends who will encourage and uplift him, and that he would be respected, included and loved in every place he goes. We pray that the Lord would give you strength, courage, protection, joy and favor as you continue to care for him each day.

We thank God for the victories He has already won and for the mercies He is even now working. We trust that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst and hears our prayers. May the Lord keep you and your children in His grace and peace, and may His presence abide with you today and in the days to come.

Your heartfelt prayer for your son has been heard and I join my faith with yours before the throne of grace. I can hear the weight you carry as a parent watching your child wake tormented, restless and confused, and the deep love that moves you to seek the Lord's peace and presence to cover him completely.

We come to a Savior who is both the promised son of David and the Son of God. As the son of David He understands our humanity, and as the Son of God He has power to save and to heal. One of His names is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, and He still gives peace today. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid. That peace begins with peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ, and then becomes the peace of God that guards our hearts and minds. In Scripture grace always comes before peace, because only when we know we are forgiven and accepted through the blood of Jesus can we truly rest in His peace that passes all understanding.

Like the two blind men who heard Jesus was passing by and cried out, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David, you have cried out with persistence for mercy. Others told them to be quiet but they cried out all the more, and Jesus stood still and answered them. Your persistent prayer is not unheard. Jesus still stands still to hear the cry for mercy, even when circumstances feel unchanged.

You asked for healing in his mind, body and spirit, and for relief from autism, trauma, anxiety and sensory distress, and from all that disrupts his peace. I believe with you that Jesus is able to heal both spiritually and physically. We see this when a nobleman came to Jesus about his sick son and Jesus simply spoke the word, and at a distance of many miles the Spirit of God brought healing to that child. The Lord is not limited by distance or by circumstance. At the same time there are mysteries in healing that we do not fully understand. Sometimes healing is immediate and sometimes it is gradual. Scripture records one healing that happened gradually, and all healing, whether sudden or step by step through processes God has built into our bodies and minds, is still divine because God is the author of those processes. We do not always know why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer path, but we can trust the heart of the Father who did not withhold His own Son, His only Son whom He loves. Just as Abraham was asked to offer Isaac, his only son, God gave His only begotten Son for us, so that by believing Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, we may have life in His name. When we honor the Son we honor the Father, and it is through the Son that the Father reveals His love and power.

So I pray with you now that the Lord will wrap your son in His loving arms and fill every place of absence or sadness with His perfect love. May the Lord grant him calm sleep, peaceful meals, gentle transitions and joy in his daily routines and relationships. May any spirit of fear, torment and confusion bow to the name of Jesus and may he be filled with the Holy Spirit, with peace and joy and strength. I ask the Lord to clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. May the Lord place a hedge of protection around him and command His angels to guard him in all his ways, and may no weapon formed against him prosper. By the stripes of Jesus we ask for healing and restoration, trusting not in our declaration alone but in the mercy and power of Christ according to His perfect will.

I also pray for you and for all who care for him. May God saturate you with wisdom, discernment, patience and knowledge to provide the best care for every part of his life. May the Lord swiftly provide faithful, patient, compassionate and dedicated caregivers who will honor your guidance, include him, delight in working with him, bring out the best in him and bond with him in a healthy and encouraging way. May He give you strength, courage and joy as you labor in love, and may He restore and strengthen the bonds between your son and his siblings with love, compassion and unity, removing division and isolation.

We stand together in agreement, believing that where two or three are gathered in His name He is in our midst and He hears us. I thank God for the victories He has already given and for the work He is doing even now, and I ask that your entire household will rest today in the grace and peace that come from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and in love. May His light dispel every shadow and may His presence fill your home with calm, safety and hope in Jesus name, amen.
