Your honest cry for peace and for God to walk with you through this hard season is heard, and it is good that you bring all of these burdens to Him at once.

The deepest peace comes from knowing that your standing with God does not rest on your own strength or performance, but on His grace and on what Jesus Christ has already finished for you. When you were without hope, He drew you to Himself and gave you the faith to believe in His Son, who is the only provision God has made for the forgiveness of sin. To do the work of God is simply to believe on the One He sent, and to rest in that completed work rather than in your own efforts. That rest is where peace begins, even while pressures remain.

God is also at work in you right now, not only around you. Scripture encourages us to consider it joy when we face hard testings, because He is shaping character and removing rough edges so that He can then work through us. That shaping can feel painful and confusing, and you may not understand why He allows certain pressures, but He has a purpose and a plan for your life and He is preparing you for what He wants to do through you. He is working in you because He wants to work through you.

That is true in your work situation. The stress of a commission only job with its ups and downs, the feast and famine rhythm, and the desire for supervisors to see your diligence, are all known to Him. He calls us to work quietly and faithfully and to provide for our own needs, and He sees faithful labor even when others do not. At the same time, all things work together for good for those who love Him, even when business is slow and income is uncertain. Waiting is difficult, and impatience can get in the way of what God is doing, but if you wait patiently on Him, He will work things out in His time and in His way. Keep doing your part with integrity, and trust Him to open doors that you cannot open yourself.

Your love and concern for your mother honors God, for He has called children to honor and care for their parents. The word cancer carries such fear because it seems so powerful to sap strength and choke out life. Yet the power of those cells is nothing compared to the power of Jesus, the Creator of all things. He is able to touch and heal, and we leave room for Him to work as He desires, whether through medical care, through a miraculous touch, or through His sustaining grace day by day. We have seen Him take away pain and bring comfort in a moment, and we know He is present with your mother in and out of the hospital. We will ask Him to bring healing according to His will, to ease her pain, to give wisdom to those caring for her, and to fill both of you with His presence.

You also mentioned another important financial matter. Bring that too under His care. He knows the details and He has not left you alone in it. Keep bringing it to Him in prayer, continue to be diligent and honest in what you can do, and trust His provision.

Above all, you asked for God to walk with you through tough times. He has promised to do that. His Spirit draws near and convicts and comforts, revealing Jesus as the answer for sin and the source of hope. You do not have to carry these burdens by yourself.

May the Lord grant you His peace that steadies your heart, strengthen you for each day of work, let your supervisors see the faithfulness He is building in you, touch your mother with His healing and comforting hand, provide for your financial needs, and make His walk with you unmistakable. May you rest more and more in the finished work of Jesus for you, knowing your future is secure in Him, and may you experience His grace shaping you through these trials for His glory.
