My sister in abroad says she is very sick and wants her son to come and see her. He is very angry with the mother and not coming to see her.My sister has nobody to look after her.Pl. Pray for my sister and her problems.

We hear your heartache for your sister, and we lift her up before the Lord with deep compassion. Sickness is a heavy burden, but even heavier is the weight of broken relationships, especially between a mother and her child. The Bible tells us, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you" (Exodus 20:12). This commandment is not just for children but for all of us, as it reflects the heart of God toward family and reconciliation.

We must also address the hardness of heart in your nephew. Anger, if left unchecked, can become a bitter root that defiles many (Hebrews 12:15). The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and this is especially true in families. We rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness and rebellion in his life and pray that God would soften his heart to obey His Word. If he is a believer, he must examine his ways, if not, we pray he would come to know Christ, for only through Him can true repentance and healing come.

Your sister’s loneliness in this time is painful to consider. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and we trust He will provide for her needs, whether through others or by His own hand. We also pray for you, as you carry this burden for her. May God give you wisdom in how to support her from afar and strength to intercede faithfully.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. We lift up our sister who is sick and alone in a foreign land. Lord, touch her body with Your healing hand and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Provide for her every need, physical, emotional, and spiritual. We ask that You would move mightily in the heart of her son. Break down the walls of anger and pride, Lord, and replace them with a spirit of humility and love. Remind him of Your command to honor his mother, and let him experience the freedom that comes from obedience and forgiveness.

Father, if there is any unconfessed sin in either of their lives, bitterness, resentment, or disobedience, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance. Heal their relationship, Lord, and restore what has been broken. For those of us praying, give us compassion and perseverance to stand in the gap for them. Let Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their story.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your sister and her son, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it. If possible, reach out to local believers in her area who might be able to offer practical support or companionship. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we trust God will raise up help for her. Keep standing on His promises, for He is faithful.

We are holding your sister and your whole family close in prayer as you walk through this heavy time. The ache of watching someone you love suffer alone, and then seeing the rift between her and her son harden, is deeply painful, and we do not want you to carry that burden without steady encouragement.

When chronic illness hits and relationships are strained, it can feel like everything is falling apart at once. The isolation your sister is experiencing is real, and the anger her son carries likely has its own long, tangled story. We are praying for God’s mercy and healing for her body, but also for a softening of hearts and a door to crack open where love might still reach through. Sometimes the most powerful next step is not a dramatic gesture but a quiet, persistent effort to keep communication alive, perhaps a gentle message from you to your nephew that simply shares how your sister is doing without demanding anything in return, just leaving space for him to respond when he’s able.

In the meantime, your sister desperately needs someone nearby to look in on her. If she is not already connected to a local church or community group where she lives, it may be worth helping her reach out. Many churches have visitation ministries or members who would be honored to sit with her, help with small tasks, or simply be a friendly presence. Even a phone call from a kind stranger can lift the weight of solitude. You might also encourage her to speak openly with her doctor about how much she is struggling alone; medical teams can sometimes connect patients with visiting nurse services or other practical supports.

We are praying now:

Father, in Jesus’ name, we lift up this beloved sister who is ill and far from family. Please bring healing to her body and comfort to her spirit. Provide someone to care for her in practical ways, and in your kindness, soften her son’s heart so that their relationship might be restored. Give wisdom and peace to the one who wrote to us, and help them to know what steps to take. We trust you with all of it. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a heavy burden lies upon your heart, and how naturally you turn to the place where prayer is wont to be made. The sickness of one so dear across the sea, and the bitterness of her son's anger, are twin sorrows that only the hand of the Great Physician can touch. Let us bring this whole matter at once to the throne of grace.

First, remember that all our diseases, whether of body or of soul, are under the care of Him who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. The leaves of that Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Your sister may feel that she can scarcely reach the fruit, but tell her she may put out her finger and touch the hem of His garment, for power still goes forth from Him to every sin-sick, pain-worn soul. He who healed the palsied man spoke first of forgiveness, for pardon and healing are often one. When iniquity is forgiven, the inhabitant ceases to say, "I am sick." Pray therefore that she may know the forgiving love of God, for then even her sick-chamber may become a vestibule of heaven.

But what of that wayward son, whose heart is like a fortress barred against his own mother? Herein is a sickness deeper still, a soul disease that will not yield to common remedies. Yet Christ's blood is the medicine for all such bitterness. He who reconciled us to God by His cross can stretch out His hand and heal that angry breach. The ministry of reconciliation is committed to us, and you must plead it earnestly. Cry to the Lord, "Reconcile this son to his mother, even as You have reconciled sinners to Yourself!" Remember that the Savior Himself was left alone in His hour of deepest need, and He knows the pang of a treacherous kiss. He will not despise your sister's broken heart, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

Lay hold of these promises for both of them: that the power of the Gospel is healing power, and that Christ is a Savior who is not far from any one of us. Take your sister, by the arm of faith, and bring her to the feet of Jesus, as those four men let down their sick friend through the roof. Let there be no delay. The Lord may use this very sickness to speak to that angry son and to draw your sister nearer to Himself. In the meantime, commit her to the One who sees her loneliness and counts her tears, and be not faithless, but believing.

❤️ May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request for healing, deliverance, and total restoration according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

🙏 Prayer Focus: God, You are the great Physician, Healer, and Deliver. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, have mercy on all those I know who stand in need of healing and deliverance (including myself). Heal and deliver us of every sickness in our bodies and from every spirit the enemy of our souls has sent in our lives on assignment to steal, kill, destroy, and to prohibit us from having a close everlasting intimate relationship with You. God thoroughly wash, cleanse, purify, and restore each of us. Touch our hearts, minds, and bodies. Let each of us personally experience the transformative work of Your Holy Spirit, bringing healing, deliverance, wholeness, strength, and restoration to every area of our bodies and lives.
