We lift our hearts to the Lord, the giver of true peace, joy, and happiness, which are not fleeting emotions but the deep, abiding fruit of His Spirit. The world offers temporary pleasures, but only in Christ do we find lasting fulfillment. Jesus said in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* True peace comes from surrendering our lives to Him and trusting in His sovereign plan.
We also recognize that joy is not dependent on circumstances but on our relationship with God. In Nehemiah 8:10, we read, *"The joy of Yahweh is your strength."* When we delight ourselves in the Lord, He fills our hearts with a joy that transcends hardship. Happiness and good moments flow from a life aligned with His will, as Psalm 16:11 declares, *"You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore."*
However, we must address the absence of Christ’s name in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the blessings of peace, joy, and eternal life. Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Him, true and lasting peace is impossible.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. We ask that You pour out Your peace upon this dear one, a peace that surpasses all understanding and guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, fill them with Your joy, not as the world gives, but as only You can provide. Let their life be marked by moments of happiness and goodness that reflect Your glory.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or discontentment that may be trying to steal their peace. We declare that the joy of the Lord is their strength, and we ask that You remind them daily of Your faithfulness and love. Help them to seek You above all else, for in Your presence is fullness of joy.
If this dear one does not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus and soften their heart to receive Him. May they experience the true peace that comes from being reconciled to You through the blood of Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for Your goodness and mercy. May this life be a testimony of Your grace, and may they walk in the fullness of Your blessings each day. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
