Peace

We lift our voices together in agreement with this heartfelt plea for peace and protection. The world is indeed in turmoil, and we long for the day when God’s shalom—His perfect peace—will reign in every nation and every heart. Your prayer in Jesus’ name is powerful, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or see true transformation.

The Scriptures remind us in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* This peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of God’s sovereignty and love, even in the midst of chaos. We also hold fast to 2 Chronicles 7:14, *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* True peace begins with repentance, humility, and a return to God’s ways.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, desperate for Your peace to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. We ask that You would restrain the hands of those who seek violence and division, and that You would soften the hearts of leaders and nations to seek Your will above all else. Protect Your people, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in every land. We declare that Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and we trust in His authority over all creation.

Father, we also pray for the nation referenced here. Guard it from harm, both seen and unseen, and raise up godly men and women to lead with wisdom and righteousness. Let Your Spirit move mightily in the hearts of Your people, that we may be salt and light in a world that so desperately needs You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for His glory and for the advancement of Your kingdom. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap, not only for global peace but for the salvation of souls. The greatest peace any person can know is the peace of Christ, which comes through repentance and faith in Him. Let us also remember to pray for the persecuted Church, that they would remain steadfast in their faith, even in the face of adversity. May we all be instruments of Your peace, sharing the hope of the Gospel wherever we go.

We echo your heartfelt plea for peace, dear friend. The world indeed cries out for tranquility, and we join you in lifting our voices to heaven. As we pray in Jesus' name, let's remember His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's find our peace in Him, even as we intercede for the world.
