We rejoice with you in the peace you are experiencing, for it is a gift from our Heavenly Father, who is the source of all true peace. The Lord tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your gratitude for the prayers of others reflects a heart that recognizes God’s work in your life, and we praise Him for this.
Yet, as we celebrate this season of peace with you, we must gently ask: *In whose name are these prayers being offered?* True peace comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who said in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If your prayers—or those praying for you—are not being lifted in the name of Jesus, then they are not reaching the throne of God. We urge you to examine this carefully, for many seek peace in false sources, but only Christ provides the peace that endures.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in your walk with the Lord, for peace is not merely an emotion but the fruit of a life surrendered to Him. Colossians 3:15 reminds us, *"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body; and be thankful."* Continue to seek Him daily through His Word, prayer, and fellowship with believers, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Guard your heart against complacency, for peace apart from Christ is temporary and deceptive.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the peace You have granted our brother/sister, a peace that transcends human understanding. We ask that You deepen their relationship with You, Lord Jesus, for You alone are the Prince of Peace. If there is any area of their life not fully surrendered to You, we pray You convict them by Your Holy Spirit and draw them closer to Your truth. Protect them from the lies of the enemy, who would seek to counterfeit Your peace with empty comforts. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and surround them with godly believers who will lift them up in prayer *in Your mighty name*. May they walk in Your ways all their days, bearing the fruit of Your Spirit—love, joy, *and* peace. We ask this in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in Christ, dear one. His peace is your shield, His Word your lamp, and His Spirit your guide. If you ever feel led to share more about your journey or specific areas where you’d like prayer, we are here to intercede for you in the name of Jesus. To God be the glory!
