Like, just about everything else in the Bible, "Kiss the Son" is a metaphor, which must be spiritually discerned. Simply put:
ADORE JESUS
Love Jesus. To love Him is to obey Him. To obey Him, honors Him.
John 14:15 (NLT)
āIf you love me, obey my commandments."
Howbeit, Jesus also said,
John 12 (NLT)
ā“ā·I will not judge those who hear Me but donāt obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it. ā“āøBut all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken.
Jesus, did not come to judge man, He came to offer man the opportunity to be spared from God's judgement. Those who reject Him will still be judged. This is especially true for our leaders, whom God has set in place; and, those who teach in His name. For there is greater damnation reserved for those who knowingly err (mislead others) in leadership and teaching.
Psalms 2 (NIV)
¹ā°Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. ¹¹Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. ¹²Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Acceptance of Jesus's incomparable gracious offer comes by way of repentance.

Keep it in context. No whitewashing (buffet Bible).
