SALVATION OF JESUS CHRIST for her!!

We hear the deep pain in your heart as you seek peace and reconciliation with your mother. The wounds of injustice, especially from those who are meant to love and protect us, can run very deep, and we stand with you in bringing this burden before the Lord. First, we want to affirm that your desire for healing is good and right, God calls us to pursue peace (Romans 12:18) and to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). However, true reconciliation requires both parties to walk in humility and truth.

Your prayer mentions the Holy Spirit and the salvation of Jesus Christ for your mother, and we join you in lifting this up with urgency. Salvation through Jesus is the only way to true transformation, for it is by His name alone that hearts are softened and lives are changed. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If your mother does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Himself, for apart from Christ, true repentance and healing cannot take root.

We also want to gently address the weight of unforgiveness and bitterness that may linger in your own heart. Holding onto past injustices can hinder your peace and even your relationship with God. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean excusing the wrongs done to you, but it does mean releasing the hold they have on your heart so that you can walk in the freedom Christ offers.

We also sense the frustration in your words about your mother’s refusal to acknowledge the injustices you’ve endured. While it is right to desire acknowledgment and repentance, we must also surrender the outcome to God. Proverbs 20:22 reminds us, "Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you." It is not your responsibility to convince her of the truth, only the Holy Spirit can convict hearts (John 16:8). Your role is to extend grace, pray for her, and trust God to work in ways you cannot see.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who longs for peace and reconciliation with their mother. Lord, we ask that You would soften her mother’s heart to see the truth and to seek You, the only One who can bring true healing. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may come to know Jesus as her Savior and Lord, for apart from Him, there is no lasting change.

Father, we also ask that You would heal the wounds in this child’s heart. Where there is bitterness, replace it with Your peace. Where there is pain, bring Your comfort. Help them to release the past into Your hands and to trust You with the outcome. Give them the strength to forgive as You have forgiven them, and to walk in the freedom that comes from surrendering their hurt to You.

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in this situation, whether in the mother’s actions or in the child’s response, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead them both to repentance. May Your love and grace flow between them, even if full reconciliation is not possible in this life. We trust You to work all things together for good, for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this journey. Consider writing down your feelings in a letter to your mother, not necessarily to send, but as a way to process your emotions before God. Invite Him into every memory, every hurt, and every longing for justice. And remember, even if your mother never acknowledges the past, God sees your pain, and He is your ultimate Healer and Redeemer. Isaiah 43:18-19 says, "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Trust that God is doing a new thing in your life, even now.

We hear how deeply you long for your mom to truly see the pain and for things to be made right. There’s a particular ache when the person who should have protected you refuses to acknowledge what happened, and that ache doesn’t go away just because she’s aging or because you’re trying to find peace. We’re walking this with you.

Reconciliation takes two willing hearts, and when one person isn’t ready or able to face the truth, we can feel stuck. But your peace isn’t dependent on her finally admitting it. One of the things we’ve seen is that forgiveness can start inside you as a decision to release the bitterness and stop letting the past dictate your wellbeing, even while the relationship itself remains broken. You don’t have to pretend it didn’t happen, and you don’t have to force a closeness that feels unsafe. But you can begin to hand the injustice over to God, trusting that He sees exactly what was done and that ultimate justice rests with Him.

A practical step that sometimes helps is to write a letter you’ll never send, where you honestly name the hurt, express your anger, and then symbolically release it to God. Then you can focus on inviting His peace into the parts of your heart that feel so raw, asking Him to heal what another person can’t or won’t repair right now. That doesn’t close the door on your mom; it just means you’re not waiting for her permission to start healing.

We’re praying for you both, but especially for you.

Lord Jesus, you know the untold story here and the weight this daughter carries. Please lift that weight from her shoulders and fill the empty places with your steady peace. Soften her mother’s heart, yes, we ask boldly for that, but more than anything, hold this precious woman steady while she walks through the hurt. Give her wisdom to know what she can control and courage to release what she can’t. Surround her with people who will stand with her and remind her she is seen and loved. We pray all this in your name. Amen.

The burden of your heart is plain: you seek peace and reconciliation with your mother, and you cry out for the salvation of her soul through Jesus Christ. Take comfort in this, there is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared. For Christ’s sake, He blots out transgressions and will not remember sins. This is no uncertain matter; it is a divine certainty: “There is forgiveness,” with no limit drawn. Even for your mother, aged though she be, there is forgiveness now, at this very moment, through faith in Jesus Christ. The righteousness of God gleams like a sharp two-edged sword, but it is satisfied in the sacrifice of His Son; He is just and the justifier of him who believeth in Jesus.

And as for the injustices you have endured, remember this: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. He forgives freely, completely, eternally. His forgiveness is not a cold dismissal but a warm embrace that breaks the heart and moves us to forgive others. Revenge is paltry; forgiveness is great-minded. Leave your cause with Him who judgeth righteously. Your own forgiveness was a deed of divine grace, not earned by your merit. So extend that same grace to your mother, not waiting for her admission of wrong, but because you have been forgiven much.

Pray on. Cry to the Holy Spirit to soften her heart. You cannot make her drink, but the water of life is set before her. The way of salvation is simple: Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. Trust Christ for her, and entreat her to trust Christ for herself. There is forgiveness with God, there was, there is, and there will be while life lasts. May you find peace in casting all your care upon Him, and may your mother yet be brought to know the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, for His name’s sake. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of peace and reconciliation with your mother, and of the pain of past injustice that she will not acknowledge. This desire for peace is itself a good thing, for peace is the mother of all good things, the foundation of joy. Yet you must understand what true peace is and where it comes from. The enmity between God and man was not healed by words, but by the Blood of His Cross. Through Himself, by death on the tree, He reconciled all things to Himself. If you would have peace with your mother, you must first be reconciled to God through Christ, and then bring that peace to bear upon this broken relationship.

You long for your mother to understand, to ease your pain, to repair what was done. But hear the commandment: "Honor thy father and thy mother." This is not given only for parents who are just, or who admit their wrongs. Even when they refuse to see, the command stands. Do not make void the word of God by your tradition of demanding satisfaction before you show honor. What if Christ had waited for us to acknowledge our sins before He died for us? He reconciled us to Himself while we were enemies. Can you not, then, bear this wound and still honor the one who bore you?

You ask for the Holy Spirit to soften her heart. This is a godly request. For no brother, not even a son, can redeem another; each shall give account of himself to God. Your mother’s salvation is the far greater need than your own comfort. Pray for her with tears, but do not let your own peace depend on her repentance. If you insist that she must see what you see before you can rest, you make her your debtor, and this is not the peace of Christ. He commands peacemakers, and they shall be called sons of God. A peacemaker does not insist on his own vindication, but rather cuts off the root of bitterness within himself, so that the fruit of strife withers away.

Be careful also how you make your request. When our Lord was at the wedding, He said to His mother, "Woman, what have I to do with thee?" because the request did not come from those in need, but from her, as if to direct His power. In the same way, you must go to God yourself, as the one who needs healing. Do not make your mother the mediator of your peace, nor wait for her to give what only God can give. The wrong done to you is real, but the greater injury would be to let it steal your own soul's peace and lead you into the devil's snare of unforgiveness.

Therefore, let your prayer be: "Lord, I forgive as I have been forgiven. Have mercy upon my mother, and bring her to the knowledge of Thy truth. Grant me grace to honor her even in this trial, and let Thy peace rule in my heart, which is the bond of perfectness." For peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of Christ, who is our peace, having broken down the middle wall of partition. Seek this, and whether your mother ever admits the injustice or not, you will have a peace that no man can take away.

Your longing for peace with your mother and the ache over the past are not lost on the Lord, nor is your cry for her salvation. What you are asking for reaches into two deep realities: the need for relational healing and the eternal need of her soul. Both find their only true resolution in Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures show us that the family we enter through faith in Christ creates bonds that run deeper than even our natural blood ties. When Jesus was told his mother and brothers were waiting outside, he looked at those sitting around him and said, “Who is my mother and my brothers? Whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.” He was not dishonoring his earthly family; he was revealing that spiritual kinship in the family of God is the deepest connection we can have. If your mother does not yet share that bond with you in Christ, a profound part of the separation remains. This is why her salvation must remain at the center of your prayers. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. God has provided for the forgiveness of her sins through Jesus Christ alone. That is the only provision he has made.

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and the call today is the same as it always has been: “Now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation.” This is what you are truly asking for when the Holy Spirit is invoked to soften her heart and open her eyes. The most important need any person has is their salvation. Better to enter heaven maimed than to go whole into hell, as Christ warned. So do not let up in that prayer, because a concern for her eternal state is the most loving thing you can carry.

At the same time, your personal pain over the injustice done to you is real. The command to honor our parents does not require you to pretend wrongs never happened. But the path toward your own peace lies in what Jesus taught about forgiveness. It is not a mathematical tally but a matter of the spirit. The kingdom illustration shows a servant forgiven an impossible debt, yet that same servant then refuses to release a small one owed to him. The point is that you must have the spirit of forgiveness from the heart. This is not saying what was done to you is acceptable; it is about releasing the debt in your own heart so bitterness does not become your master. If you are willing, God will give you the capacity to forgive. You must be willing to pray, “God, take away this bitter root and give me a forgiving spirit.”

That forgiveness can exist alongside the truth that reconciliation, in the human sense, may not look the way you hope. Your mother may never admit the depth of the pain she caused. She is old and may remain resistant. But your peace does not depend entirely on her admission of guilt. It rests on the forgiveness you have received from Christ and that same forgiveness you extend, trusting God with the justice. If guilt for past wrongs haunts a person, the only thing keeping them from cleansing is a refusal to come and ask for forgiveness. That is true for her, and it is true for you in any way you may have responded sinfully to the hurt. Come to Jesus and receive his love, his pardon, and his cleansing. He is faithful to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

The deepest reconciliation you can hope for with your mother is that you both stand one day as fellow members of the household of God, bonded together by the Spirit, closer than any natural family could be without him. Until that door closes, today is the day of salvation for her. Live before her as a witness of the grace that has pardoned you, giving no unnecessary offense, but holding firmly to the hope that the captain of our salvation is bringing many sons to glory. He is able to do what you cannot. Trust him with her heart, and trust him with your own healing.
