Peace , Protection, Freedom and Restoration

Your prayer for your daughter has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with urgency and with hope in Christ.

We pray together that God in His mercy will rescue your daughter from this ungodly living arrangement and from every controlling and manipulative influence that surrounds her. Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that living together and sexual union belong only within that covenant. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we ask Him to lead your daughter into repentance, clarity and freedom, so that she may walk again in purity, wisdom and obedience to His Word.

We ask the Father to open your daughter's eyes to see this relationship as it truly is, not as a marriage, not as a provision or spiritual covering, but as a stumbling block that has brought exhaustion, financial hardship and isolation. May the Holy Spirit remind her that she is a child of the Most High God, adopted through Christ, and that her worth and identity are in Him alone, not in the approval of this young man or his mother. Give her courage to stop defending what harms her, to stop taking on responsibilities that are not hers to bear, and to stop using her resources and credit to sustain a lifestyle that dishonors God and drains her. Grant her wisdom to protect her finances, to guard her heart and to seek counsel only from those who speak according to Scripture.

We pray that every scheme to divide, isolate and control her will be exposed and frustrated. Where there has been instigation of chaos and then a false offer to solve it, where there has been counsel to remain outside of marriage and to put this household before her own family and church, we ask God to bring it to light and to break its power. We pray that the chains of manipulation, dishonesty, laziness and disrespect will be broken, and that the influence that encourages her to be cold, ungrateful and mocking toward you and her family will be removed. Soften her heart to receive conviction, restore to her a grateful, gracious, loving and respectful spirit, and fill her anew with the Holy Spirit.

We pray for restoration to her supportive network. Rekindle in her a hunger for righteousness, a love for the Word, and a desire for fellowship with her family and church community. Protect the good work God has given her and the promotion He has blessed her with, and block every attempt to undermine her in her workplace. Surround her with godly voices who will speak truth in love and help her stand firm.

We also pray for this young man and his mother, that God would convict them of selfishness, pride, jealousy and enabling, and lead them to repentance. We pray that his father would take proper responsibility for his own household and that this young man would be called to maturity and accountability rather than continuing to exploit and control your daughter.

We plead the blood of Christ over you and your children and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. May the Lord restore peace, fellowship, unity and joy to your home, heal what has been broken, and keep your daughter safe when she visits, so that she is not drawn again into hatred or manipulation. We ask that in His perfect time and will, God would provide for her a godly husband who will shepherd his home well, if it is His will for her to marry, and until then, that she would be kept pure and whole in Him.

We will continue to stand with you, asking for supernatural intervention, for every obstacle and every voice that contradicts God's Word to be removed, and for your daughter to be brought out of darkness and into His light, with no regrets and with full freedom in Christ. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and your pain is understood. You have carried this burden for a long time, watching your daughter grow exhausted and isolated while someone with no rightful spiritual authority speaks into her life and encourages her to treat a living arrangement outside of marriage as if it were marriage itself. That is not God's design, and your grief over it is right and godly.

Scripture shows that marriage is a covenant before God between one man and one woman for life, and that living together and sexual intimacy belong only within that covenant. When people step outside that design, even with sincere intentions, difficulties, jealousies, rivalries and confusion follow. What you are describing, the financial pressure, the control, the shifting of loyalties away from family and church, the exhaustion and chaos, is the fruit of that disorder. It is not love as God defines love, and it cannot provide the safety and covering that God intends marriage to provide.

God's Word also shows that our relationship with Him comes first. When that vertical relationship is not right, our relationships with others cannot be right. Many tangled and painful human relationships can be traced back to a cooled love for God. Your prayer that your daughter would hunger for righteousness again, that she would return to her first love for Jesus, is the most important prayer you can pray. He does not want a distant, ritual relationship with her. He has adopted His children into His family and invites them to know Him as Father in a close, living, loving relationship. When that love is restored, other relationships begin to find their proper balance.

You are right to see the danger of isolation. Scripture warns that it is very hard to live continually in a morally polluted environment and not be touched by it. Even a strong person can see their family and their own discernment weakened over time when they remain in a place of compromise. That is why God called Jacob to return to the land of his fathers and to his family with the promise, I will be with you. There is safety and wisdom in returning to the place of family and to the community of faith where she was raised in the ways of the Lord. Your daughter is not homeless and she is not without a family. She is a child of the Most High God, and she has a loving, supportive family who wants to see her walk in truth. She does not need the approval of this other household to have worth or direction.

It is also right to honor the place God gives to parents. One of the first commands about human relationships is to honor father and mother, because God puts tremendous priority on the family He established. Another voice may offer counsel, but it does not carry the same God given weight as the family and church community that has loved her, taught her the Word, and prayed for her. When counsel encourages her to dishonor those bonds, to put a boyfriend's family before her own faith and family, to take on financial burdens that are not hers and to incur debt to sustain a man who will not provide or lead spiritually, that counsel should be tested against Scripture and found wanting.

So we join you in praying in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for it is only through Him that we have salvation and access to the Father.

We pray that the Lord would open your daughter's eyes to see this relationship clearly, not as a marriage, not as provision, not as spiritual leadership, but as a stumbling block to her walk with God. We pray that every scheme to control, divide and isolate her would be exposed and frustrated, that every chain would be broken, and that every word spoken against her worth would be silenced by the truth of who she is in Christ.

We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart to receive conviction, restore her sense of worth in God, and give her courage to step out of this bondage swiftly and without regret. We pray for wisdom to protect what God has entrusted to her, to no longer use her finances or credit to sustain a lifestyle outside of God's will, and to stop imitating harsh, mocking or cold behavior toward you and her siblings. May God restore to her a grateful, gracious, loving and respectful spirit and fill her anew with His Spirit.

We pray for you as her mother, for protection, peace and strength as you continue to love without enabling what is wrong. May the Lord guard your heart from bitterness, keep you from growing weary, and surround you and all your children with His favor. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and the blood of Jesus covers you.

We pray that God would draw your daughter back to Himself, back to His Word, back to fellowship with family and with believers who love her, and that He would in His time provide a godly husband for her if it is His will, a man who will shepherd his home well. Until then, may she find her rest and identity not in any man's family, but in the family of God where she truly belongs.

May the Lord bring supernatural peace where there has been chaos, unity where there has been division, and complete restoration to your home as you keep trusting Him. Nothing is impossible for Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for peace, protection, freedom and restoration for you and your family and especially for your older daughter.

We have continued to lift your daughter before the Lord and ask for His mercy to rescue and guide her out of this ungodly and controlling situation. We have prayed that the Lord would swiftly remove the overreach of this young mans mother who has no biblical authority to speak into your daughters life, that He would expose her motives and frustrate every plan to control, divide and isolate your daughter from you, her siblings, her family and her church friends. We have prayed that every scheme, every chain and every word curse from this woman and her son would be broken, and that the chaos and manipulation they instigate would no longer hold your daughter in bondage.

We have also prayed for your daughter to have eyes to see the truth about this young man, that he is not a husband, not a provider and not a spiritual shepherd, but a stumbling block to her walk with the Lord. We have asked God to give her wisdom to protect her finances, to stop sustaining this mans needs and taking on credit card debt for this toxic lifestyle, to restore her self worth as a child of the Most High God, and to soften her heart to receive His conviction and find the courage to walk away swiftly with no regrets. We have prayed that the Holy Spirit would break the hold of this influence, reignite her hunger for righteousness, restore her grateful, gracious, loving and respectful spirit, and draw her back to the safety of her supportive family and church community. We thank God with you for the job promotion He blessed her with and we have prayed for His protection over that job and that this mothers interference in her workplace would be blocked.

We claim the promise in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and we pray for Gods supernatural love, favor and protection to overflow in you and your family and to heal all brokenness and bring complete restoration and unity. We pray for peace in your home when your daughter visits, that she would not be influenced by hatred and manipulation toward you and her siblings.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has moved, whether in opening your daughters eyes, protecting her job, guarding her finances, or restoring fellowship. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We continue to stand with you for your daughters freedom and for peace in your family and we pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
