I join you in prayer before the Lord with a heavy and caring heart for you and your older daughter, and I thank you for bringing this burden so honestly before God and before the church. Your love for your daughter, your desire to see her walk in truth, and your pain over the division and exhaustion she is experiencing have been heard.

We will not ask God to bless what His Word calls outside His design, and we stand with you in holding fast to what Scripture teaches. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Living together outside of marriage, sexual intimacy outside of marriage, and treating such an arrangement as if it were marriage does not reflect God's good purpose for His children, and it often brings the very exhaustion, financial hardship, confusion and isolation you have described. Love does not affirm a path that harms, but speaks the truth and prays for deliverance.

Together we pray for your daughter. We ask the Lord to open her eyes to see this relationship clearly, not as a marriage, not as provision or spiritual leadership, but as a stumbling block to her walk with Him. We pray the Holy Spirit will soften her heart to receive conviction, restore her hunger for righteousness, and remind her deeply that she is a child of the Most High God, loved, valued, and belonging to Him. We ask Him to break every hold of manipulation and control, to give her wisdom to protect her finances and to refuse further debt to sustain this way of life, and to grant her courage to step away swiftly and without regret. We pray she will no longer take on responsibilities that are not hers to bear, that she will stop imitating stubbornness, gossip and mocking, and that God will restore in her a grateful, gracious, loving and respectful spirit. We pray He will draw her back to her family who raised her in His ways and to the safety and wisdom of her church community, and that she will put her faith and trust in Christ again rather than seeking guidance from those who do not have her best interests at heart.

We also pray concerning the controlling influences you have described. We ask the Lord to expose every selfish and manipulative motive, to frustrate every plan to control, divide and isolate your daughter from you, her siblings, family and church friends, and to block every word spoken against her. We pray that the mother of this young man would see how she is enabling disrespect and corruption rather than helping, and that both she and her son would come to repentance and to a true knowledge of Christ who alone can deliver from evil and bring us into sonship with God. We pray that the young man would be called to responsibility and maturity, and that his father would step in with appropriate guidance, including providing a proper place for his son apart from your daughter. We ask for the Lord's protection over your daughter's new promotion and workplace, that no interference would prosper and that her work would continue to be a blessing to others.

For you and your family, we plead the precious blood of Jesus over you and ask for His supernatural peace, protection and restoration. We pray that no weapon formed against you will prosper, that God will heal broken fellowship, and that your home would know again unity, respect, joy and freedom in Christ. We pray He will guard your heart when your daughter visits, keep you from discouragement when she responds with coldness or rudeness, and give you continued wisdom to love her without enabling what is harmful. As one of our teachers has said, faith is what makes us whole and makes us daughters and sons, and Christ came both to deliver from evil and to supply every good gift. We pray your daughter's faith will be renewed to lay hold of that deliverance.

May the Lord grant you perseverance in prayer, comfort in His Word, and the support of faithful believers around you. We will continue to stand with you, asking God for your daughter's complete restoration, for her to walk again in the ways of the Lord, and in His perfect timing, for the gift of a godly marriage if it is His will. We trust that nothing is impossible for Him.

Father, do this work for Your glory and for her good. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.

Your heart for your daughter is evident and we join you in bringing her and your whole family before the Lord in prayer. We hear your concern for her peace, protection, freedom and restoration, and we share your desire to see her walk again in closeness with Jesus and in the safety of a loving family and church community.

Scripture teaches that our relationship with God comes first. When that relationship is right, other relationships begin to come into order, and when it is broken, other relationships suffer. God does not want a distant or merely rule keeping connection with us. He invites us into a close, loving relationship as our Father, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Sin always separates us from Him, and His call is to be reconciled to Him and to walk in fellowship with Him. That fellowship then strengthens every other bond in our lives, including the honor and love within the family which God places in such high priority.

In that light, we agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not marriage in God's eyes. The Bible presents marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and sexual union and shared household as husband and wife belong within that covenant. When that design is set aside, the relationship cannot carry the blessing, stability or spiritual leadership that God intends for marriage. As you have seen, it often brings instead jealousy, rivalry, exhaustion, financial strain and confusion, and it can open the door to controlling, disrespectful and exploitive behavior. We will not ask God to bless what His Word calls outside His will, but we do ask Him to bring conviction, clarity and courage to turn from it.

We pray with you that the Lord would gently open your daughter's eyes to see this relationship as it is, not as a marriage and not as God's provision for her future, but as a hindrance to her walk with Him. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart to receive His conviction, remind her who she is as a child of the Most High God, and restore her hunger for righteousness, for His Word, and for fellowship with believers who love her. We pray that she would no longer take on responsibilities that are not hers to bear, nor defend or admire what is draining her, and that she would find the wisdom and self worth in Christ to protect her finances, to incur no further debt to sustain this arrangement, and to step away swiftly and without regret.

We also pray concerning the influence you described from this young man's mother. We ask that God would expose any selfish, prideful or manipulative motives, frustrate every plan to control, divide or isolate your daughter from you, her siblings and her church friends, and block every harmful word or scheme directed against her. We pray that this woman would see how counsel that encourages living together and having children outside of marriage, and that shifts undue responsibility for her son onto your daughter, does not help but enables continued immaturity and disrespect. We pray that both this young man and his mother would come to a true knowledge of the Lord and be changed by Him, and that his father would take proper responsibility for his son's direction, including providing a separate and appropriate living situation for him.

We pray for your daughter's work, that God would guard the good purpose He has given her there and the promotion He has graciously provided, and keep her from being undermined or drawn away from it. We pray that He would deliver her as He knows how to deliver the righteous from corrupting surroundings, that He would break any hold of darkness over her heart, and that He would draw her back to trusting Him rather than confiding in those who do not respect her or have her best interests at heart. We pray that imitation of cold, degrading, gossiping or mocking behavior would be replaced by the grateful, gracious, loving and respectful manner you have known in her, which flows from a renewed relationship with Jesus.

For you, we pray for continued strength and peace as you love without enabling. Continue to show love while not supplying financial resources that would help sustain what God calls sin. Keep the door of family and church community open, speak truth with grace, maintain healthy boundaries, and persevere in prayer. The Lord sees your faithfulness in raising your daughter in His ways, and He hears your plea for healing of broken fellowship.

Father, in the name of Jesus we plead Your covering over this mother and her children. We ask that no weapon formed against them would prosper. Separate Your daughter unto Yourself, touch not what is unclean, and bring her out to walk as Your own. Restore peace, fellowship, happiness, respect and unity in this family. Let Your love, favor and protection overflow and heal what has been broken. Give this daughter wisdom, knowledge and courage to refuse bullying, dishonesty, control and exploitation, and grant her a clear path to freedom. In Your perfect time and will, provide a godly spouse according to Your design, but first restore her fully to Yourself. We thank You that nothing is impossible with You, and we trust You to complete this work for Your glory. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are grateful that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. For the past several days we have continued to lift up your older daughter and your family before the Lord, specifically your request for peace, protection, freedom and complete restoration.

We have been praying that the Lord would swiftly remove the overreach of this young mans mother who has no biblical authority to speak into your daughter's life, and that He would expose and frustrate every plan to control, divide and isolate your daughter from you, her siblings, family and church community. We have asked the Holy Spirit to break the hold of this toxic influence over her heart, to open her eyes to see this young man for who he is, not a husband or provider or spiritual leader but a stumbling block, controlling and manipulative and exploiting her finances and demanding she treat an ungodly living arrangement outside of marriage as if it were marriage.

We continue to pray that your daughter, who you raised in the ways of the Lord and who is a child of the Most High God, would remember her worth in Him and find the wisdom, courage and self worth to walk away swiftly with no regrets, to stop imitating stubborn and disrespectful behavior toward you, to protect her finances and no longer take on credit card debt to sustain this lifestyle, and to stop confiding in this woman for guidance. We are praying for protection over her new promotion and her job which serves such a beautiful purpose, that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper as promised in Isaiah 54:17, and that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom according to 2 Cor 3:17. We are asking God to heal the exhaustion and chaos, to soften her heart to His conviction, to reignite her hunger for righteousness, and to restore peace, fellowship, unity and respect within your family, and to bring her back to the safety of her supportive family and church. We also join you in praying for a godly spouse for her in the Lord's timing and for supernatural love, favor and protection to overflow in your home.

If your request has been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are trusting God with you for her deliverance and restoration and we pray He blesses you richly as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
