Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer is heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus, who is the Son of God and the only way to the Father, and whose blood alone covers and cleanses us.
I pray with you for your younger daughter. God graciously gives children to us and He orders the family around His own presence, as He ordered His people around the tabernacle with the cloud to guide every journey. I ask the Lord to keep that guiding presence over her as she travels, studies and works, to give her wisdom beyond her years, to guard her from unwise financial choices and from friendships that would pull her down, to heal her body completely and to bring His calm to her mind and to every place she enters. May she learn to ask and to seek the Lord for herself, for a parent's faith cannot stand in for a child's, each one must come to know the Lord personally. Pray that she will see what God has done and will desire to walk in His ways.
I stand with you for your older daughter, asking the Lord in His mercy to open her eyes. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. I do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but to bring conviction, clarity and freedom. I pray He will break every controlling and dishonest hold, free her from isolation and from financial exploitation, and draw her back to Himself, to her family and to a godly path. God is able to restore what sin and the enemy have torn down. He can take a life that has been wrecked and put it back together, restoring sanity, relationships and all that has been taken. I pray for that restoring work in her, that she would turn to Christ in repentance and find new life in Him.
I pray also for your son, that the Lord would lift torment and confusion, restore His peace that passes understanding, and restore clear communication. At times the Lord allows His people to feel trapped with no way out, so that He may show He can make a way where there is no way and deliver with His own power. I ask Him to bring healing and a lasting breakthrough without setback, and to guard that work.
For your home I pray that it would be filled with the Holy Spirit, so that nothing remains empty for the enemy to return to. When God cleanses and fills a house, He keeps it. I ask Him to make the love and unity between you and your children strong and unbreakable, and to help you faithfully tell your children what God has done so they may know Him and walk in His truth.
For you I ask the Lord for wisdom, courage and His favor as you navigate this season, and that He would surround you all with His hedge of protection and clothe you in the full armor of God, and give charge to His angels to keep you.
I ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting His power to protect, to heal and to restore. Amen.
