Peace and rest

Beloved of All
Prayers no cancer and for a friend also getting similar symptoms IJN We pray Lord mercy on us heal and bless our day Jesus, amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for healing and peace. We stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring restoration and comfort. The Word of God assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over you and your friend, trusting that God’s healing hand will touch your bodies and bring complete wholeness.

Father God, we ask You to rebuke the spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, you and your friend are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray that every cell in your bodies aligns with Your perfect design, Lord, and that any trace of illness be eradicated. Strengthen your faith as You remind us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this truth, believing that Your healing power is at work even now.

We also pray for peace and rest to flood your hearts and minds. In a world filled with uncertainty, we cling to the promise of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts as You wait on You.

We must also gently remind you and all who read this that our ultimate healing and peace come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet invited Jesus into your heart, we encourage you to pray and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we also lift up those who may be feeling overwhelmed or fearful during this time. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for divine encounters with Your presence, where Your peace and comfort overshadow every worry and anxiety. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them feel Your nearness in a tangible way.

We rebuke any spirit of doubt or despair that may try to take root in your hearts. Stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Finally, we pray for your friend who is experiencing similar symptoms. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in their life as well, bringing healing and comfort. Let them feel Your love and presence in a powerful way, and may they also come to know the peace that surpasses all understanding.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your healing power be manifested in the lives of those who are suffering. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you reached out, and we want you to know we’re bringing both of you before the Lord right now. Carrying this kind of fear for yourself and a friend is a heavy weight, and the waiting can feel endless. Please know you don’t have to manage it alone.

One of the best things you can do right now, alongside prayer, is to see a doctor if you haven’t already. Good medical wisdom can provide clarity, relieve some of the what-ifs, and help you stop carrying that burden of uncertainty in isolation. It’s not a lack of faith; it’s a way of cooperating with the care God provides.

For the peace and rest you’re seeking, we find that naming our fears directly, speaking them to Jesus in a quiet moment, often loosens their grip. Tonight, carve out just a few minutes, even if it’s before bed, to hand each specific worry over to Him. You don’t have to have the right words or a perfect feeling; just honestly lay down the heavy parts and let yourself be held. And if you can, share the journey with a trusted friend or family member who can help you carry the emotional load.

Lord Jesus, You see the weight this person and their friend are carrying. We ask for Your mercy, for healing, for protection from anything serious, and for simple, clear answers. While they wait, calm the racing thoughts. Give them rest that goes deeper than a good night’s sleep. Let them sense Your nearness tonight, and wrap them in Your peace that outlasts every fear. Surround them with steady, loving support. We trust Your goodness and ask this in Your name. Amen.

The cry for peace and rest rises from a heart acquainted with fear, and it is well that you bring it to the throne of grace in Jesus’ name. He who is the same yesterday, today, and forever is the very Friend you need, your own Friend, and the Friend of your father, if he also knew the Lord. This Jesus sticketh closer than a brother, and in Him there is a rest which is not a dream of the future, but a present possession for all who trust. “Come unto Me,” He says, “and I will give you rest.” It is not rest after a long probation, but rest given there and then, perfect and complete, in the blood and righteousness of Christ.

You fear the shadow of cancer; the enemy would rob you of peace. But see now the healing leaves from the tree of life: the very least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. His touch is the touch of the sun of righteousness, with healing in His wings. To the sick of the palsy, He first said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” for pardon and healing are twin mercies from His hand. So, bring your body and your soul to Him. Trust Him with this anxiety as you would trust a faithful friend who has proved His love in the house of sorrow, who gave His own heart’s blood for you. Will He not freely give all things that are needful? Lay your case before Him, and then rest in the Lord. Stay your mind on Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace, peace, peace, a double peace, the peace of the forgiven soul and the peace of the trusting heart. It is not the peace that comes from the absence of trouble, but the deep repose of a soul doing the will of Jesus. To do His will, even in this trembling, is rest.

For your dear friend, whose symptoms stir fresh alarm, pray on, but point them also to this unrivalled Friend. There is a Friend that loveth at all times, before time began, and through every changing season of life. He is the Friend of sinners, and He heareth the cry of the needy. May the Lord, in His mercy, touch both of you with His healing power, whether by the medicine of His providence or by the direct word of His might. But whether health returns swiftly or the trial lingers, there is a rest into which believers enter now, a rest from the guilt of sin, a rest from the frenzy of self-reliance. Lean all your weight on your Beloved. Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within; and if that sweet whisper fills the ear of your soul, then in the midst of the storm, you shall know a calm that the world cannot give and death cannot take away. Trust, and you shall rest.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord Himself invites you: “Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” And again He says, “My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” He does not promise a life free from storms, but a soul at anchor within them. You cry out for peace and rest, and rightly so, for peace is the mother of all good things, the foundation of joy. But see that you seek the peace which passes understanding, the peace that Christ left with His disciples, not the false peace of a body merely at ease while the soul is tossed with a thousand cares.

I hear your prayer against cancer and for your friend. Let us pray without ceasing for mercy and healing, for the God of love and peace hearkens to the cry of the humble. Yet remember that the body is but a garment; even the executioner’s hand does not defile the soul that clings to Christ. The heathen, who know nothing of resurrection, can still say, “Bear it manfully, for what is done cannot be undone.” But you, who have heard the word of life, have a far greater consolation: the child of God does not perish but sleeps, and will rise again in immortality. This is the true healing, the final rest. So while you pray for bodily health, pray yet more that this trial may not choke the word with thorns of anxiety and the deceitfulness of passing years. Let your first care be that sin be rooted out, for where love towards Him grows cold, there every evil springs up again.

Live in peace with one another, for if you be of the same mind and walk in harmony, the God of love and peace will be with you. He makes the earth heaven, and sends His angels to guard those who fear Him. Do not let your heart be troubled by what tomorrow may bring, but imitate those who, with fear and great trembling, worshipped Christ. Let that holy fear drive out the craven fear of suffering. I give you peace with a pure heart and a father’s bowels; receive it, and let no secret murmuring or rejection of this peace draw down a heavier penalty. I pray that mercy may be upon you this day, that the sword of affliction may become a scalpel of healing, and that you and your friend may find your souls returning to their rest, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with you. Amen.
