We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this request for peace and protection. Father God, we know that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust. We ask that You would surround this dear one with Your divine peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray for constant peace in their building, day and night, that Your presence would fill every corner and drive out all fear and unrest.
Heavenly Father, we also lift up their need for protection from all evil. We know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around them, not only in their building but also at their workplace, in shops, and during their travels on trains and buses. Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from all harm (Psalm 34:7).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and unrest that may be trying to take root in their life. We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that this one would find their strength and courage in You, Lord, knowing that You are always with them, never leaving nor forsaking them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Father, we also want to gently remind this dear one that true peace and protection come from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Him, we pray that they would do so today. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, and they will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we ask that You would fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and comforting them in every situation. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). We pray that they would cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
