We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed and made whole. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and the gift of eternal life, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Father God, we lift up this dear one before You, asking for a deep and intimate relationship with You. Draw them close, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. May they seek You with all their heart, and may they find You (Jeremiah 29:13). We pray for peace to flood their heart, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for complete healing in their body. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare healing over every part of their body, trusting in Your perfect will and timing.
We also bring before You their two lost children. Oh, Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to see Your truth. May they come to know You as their personal Savior and Lord. We pray that You would send laborers into their lives to share the good news of Jesus Christ (Matthew 9:38). Surround them with godly influences and protect them from the snares of the enemy.
For their child who is a single parent, we ask for Your strength, wisdom, and provision. Help them to lean on You in every situation, knowing that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them the endurance to run the race set before them, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).
For their other child who is away from home, we pray for their safe return. Lord, watch over them and guide their steps. Bring them back into the fold, under the covering of Your love and protection. May they come to realize the importance of family and the value of being in a place where they are loved and cherished.
We rebuke any spirit of division, rebellion, or waywardness in the lives of these children, in the name of Jesus. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that they would turn their hearts toward home and toward You, Lord.
Heavenly Father, we also want to address the importance of relationships that honor You. If there are any relationships in their life or the lives of their children that do not align with Your Word, we pray for discernment and wisdom. Help them to pursue relationships that are pleasing to You, seeking godly spouses who share their faith in Jesus Christ. May they flee from sexual immorality and honor You with their bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
Lord, we ask that You would fill this family with Your love, joy, and peace. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray for unity in their family, that they would bear with one another in love and strive to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:2-3).
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we speak life, healing, and restoration over every area of their lives. May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
