We understand that you're facing a difficult situation with ### owing you money and not keeping her word. First, let's bring this matter to God in prayer.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this situation with ###. We pray that you would soften her heart and convict her to keep her promises. We ask for your divine intervention, that you would bring resolution and reconciliation to this matter. Help them to communicate effectively and honesty. Guide them with wisdom. Help ### to see the importance of good faith and the contentment that comes from being debt free. And help them to forgive each other for any wrongs in their friendship. Help them to treat each other with respect and honor in a way that is pleasing to you, Oh Lord, IJN.
In dealing with this situation, it's important to remember what the WEB says in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously." We should always strive to be righteous and generous in our dealings with others.
It's also crucial to communicate openly and honestly with ### about this matter. As it says in Ephesians 4:15, "speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ." Ensure that you're approaching this situation with love and a desire for restoration.
However, it's also important to be wise in your dealings. If ### is continually ignoring you and lying, it might be necessary to involve others in a process of mediation in the church. To seek a person's loss is to invite the Lord to be your advocate. Proverbs 6:1-5 says to release yourself from being caught by another's agreement and give the matter to the Lord. Proverbs 22:7 also says "the rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." Lastly, Matthew 18:15-17 says "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn't listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. If he refuses to hear the church also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your heart right before God. Holding onto bitterness or resentment will only harm you. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. This is why we pray in Jesus name and give thanks in Jesus name. There is no other name whereby we can be saved. Romans 10:13 says, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not called on the name of the Lord confessing and believing in Him then call on him today. Repent and confess your sins. Believe in Jesus Christ, the son of God, who came to earth clothed in flesh, and then gave his flesh as a sacrifice, shedding his blood for our sins. He was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding for us. Believe in the name of Jesus Christ and be saved.
