Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for pastors and preachers and for the families and congregations they serve.
We have continued to lift up your request before the Father, asking that pastors and preachers would seek God in prayer, daily devotion and preparation, that they would be upheld in intercession and strengthened to study the Word and to live and teach sound doctrine according to 1 Tim 4:16. We have prayed that they would be anointed by the Holy Spirit to preach against sin and call people to repentance and newness of life, with wisdom and vision from the Lord. We have also joined you in praying that families, members and visitors would be drawn to the house of God as in John 6:44 and would not forsake assembling together as in Heb 10:25, but would receive the Word in faith and humility, worship in Spirit and in Truth according to John 4:24, and walk in the anointing and protection of Eph 6:10.
We pray in Jesus Name that God, our ever present help as in Ps 46:1, would continue to draw each family member to hear and understand what He is speaking, to grant hunger for the Word as in 1 Pet 2:2 and revelation of the Messiah by the Father as in Matt 16:17, and to keep all from temptation and from the evil one as in Matt 6:13 and John 17:15.
