We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift up your requests before the Lord, that pastors and preachers would seek God in prayer and daily devotion, with preparation and intercession for the congregation, diligent study of the Word, godly lifestyle and sound teaching, and faithfulness in visiting families and house churches. We have agreed with you that families would be drawn to church as in John 6:44 and not forsake assembling together as in Heb 10:25, that members and visitors would receive the Word in faith by the revelation of the Messiah from the Father in humility which saves the soul as in Jam 1:21, and that there would be freedom to worship in spirit and truth as in John 4:24 with the anointing of the Holy Spirit as in John 14:26 and 1 John 2:20. We have also prayed for your protection over them through the armor of God in Eph 6:10, and that they would be upheld in intercession as Aaron and Hur upheld the hands of Moses in Ex 17:8 while Joshua defeated Amalek in the field, with hands lifted up as in Ps 141:2 and 1 Tim 2:8.
We also joined you in praying to our Father and ever present help as in Ps 46:1 and Isa 41:10, thanking Him for the Lord's Anointed crucified for our sins, and asking Him to draw your family members to hear and understand what He is speaking to each one as in John 16:13, granting faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of forgiveness and newness of life, and vision as in Prov 29:18. We have asked for His protection from sin and temptation as in Luke 11:4, from evil people and imposters as in 2 Thes 3:2 and 2 Tim 3:13, and from the evil one as in Matt 6:13 and John 17:15, and for a hunger for the Word as in 1 Pet 2:2 and for the Spirit of revelation as in Eph 1:17 to open minds to understand the Scriptures as in Luke 24:45.
