Disciple of Prayer
Im facing prison it's a small sentence of 2 years in Iowa, probably only serve less than a year but I leave behind a beautiful little girl two year old a wonderful woman best I ever had. I'm in outpatient treatment working trying to change but if it wasn't for my past record I had a good chance at probation. I know I'm guilty and deserve some accountability for my crimes but if I get sentence to prison I lose my disability which means the girlfriend has to survive on barely enough to pay rent. Im very sad depressed lost I'm asking the state to give me 60 days in county and probation and fines. Thank you all for praying for me and my family

We hear the weight of your heart in this difficult season, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you and your family before the throne of grace. The pain of leaving behind your little girl and the woman who has been a blessing in your life is heavy, and the fear of what lies ahead is real. Yet we know that God sees your sorrow and your desire to change, and He is near to the brokenhearted.

First, we must acknowledge that sin has consequences, and your past actions have brought you to this place of accountability. Scripture tells us, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Yet even in this, there is hope, for the same God who disciplines also restores. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not beyond His mercy, and your willingness to seek treatment and change is evidence of His work in you.

We must also address the reality of your living situation outside of marriage. Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18). While we do not judge your heart, we must encourage you to align your life with God’s design. If this woman is truly the "best you ever had," and you both love the Lord, then consider making your commitment to one another permanent in the sight of God and man. Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25), and it provides a foundation of stability and blessing for your child. If you are released, let this be a priority—not just for practical reasons, but to honor God and protect your family.

Now, we pray for you with boldness in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Lord, we come before You on behalf of this man who is facing the consequences of his past. We ask that You would go before him in the courts, softening the hearts of those who will decide his fate. If it is Your will, grant him the 60 days in county and probation he is requesting, that he might remain with his family and continue the work of restoration You have begun in him. But if prison is the path You have ordained for his refining, then sustain him, Lord. Provide for his girlfriend and daughter in ways only You can, meeting every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and depression that seeks to overwhelm him. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Strengthen his faith, that he may trust in You even when the outcome is uncertain. Help him to see this time as an opportunity to draw closer to You, to seek Your face, and to grow in holiness.

We pray for his little girl, Lord. Guard her heart and mind. Surround her with Your love and protection, and provide godly influences in her life who will point her to You. Give her mother the strength and wisdom she needs to care for their child, and provide for their every need. If it is Your will, restore this family and knit their hearts together in a way that brings glory to Your name.

Above all, we pray that You would be glorified in this situation, whether through mercy or justice. May this man’s life be a testimony to Your grace, and may he emerge from this trial stronger in faith, more dependent on You, and fully committed to walking in Your ways. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our sins and offers us new life. Amen.

In the days ahead, cling to the promise that God is working all things together for your good, even when the path is hard (Romans 8:28). Continue to seek Him through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. Let this season be one of repentance, renewal, and reliance on Him. You are not alone—He is with you, and so are we.

We're right here with you, brother. We feel the weight of your situation, the pain of leaving your little girl, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. But remember, God sees you, He knows your sorrow, and He's right there with you. He's the God of second chances, and He's working in you, even now.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep fighting, to keep seeking treatment and change. Your past actions have consequences, yes, but God's mercy is greater than your sin. He's got a plan, and He's going to see you through this.

We also want to encourage you to consider making your commitment to your girlfriend official, if that's what's in both of your hearts. Marriage is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love for the Church, and it provides a stable foundation for your daughter. If it's God's will, let this be a priority for you both.

In the coming days, we want to remind you of God's promises. He's working all things together for your good, even the hard things. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting. You're not alone, brother. We're here for you, and so is He. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, no matter what happens, God's got you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden in prayer these past days. Our hearts have been heavy as we lifted you, your little girl, and your girlfriend before the Lord, asking Him to move mightily in your situation. We prayed for mercy in the court’s decision, that the judge’s heart would be softened to consider probation or a reduced sentence, allowing you to remain with your family while still fulfilling your responsibility to the law.

We also asked God to strengthen you in this season of waiting—waiting for justice, for grace, for a future that doesn’t feel so uncertain. It’s clear how much you love your daughter and your girlfriend, and we petitioned the Lord to provide for their needs, whether through unexpected provision, community support, or His supernatural peace that surpasses understanding. We prayed against the weight of depression and fear, asking the Holy Spirit to fill you with hope and remind you that your worth is not defined by your past but by Christ’s love for you.

If the Lord has already moved in your case—if the judge showed leniency, if your family has found unexpected support, or if you’ve sensed His presence in a tangible way—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others who are facing similar battles. But if the answer hasn’t come yet, or if it hasn’t come in the way you hoped, we want you to know we’re still standing with you. Post your request again, and we will continue to intercede, believing that God is working even when we can’t see it.

Above all, we prayed that you would feel the Father’s love wrapping around you like a blanket, that you would know you are not forgotten, and that His plans for you are good. Keep seeking Him, keep fighting for change, and trust that He is with you in every step—whether in the courtroom, the treatment center, or the quiet moments at home. May His peace guard your heart, and may His grace sustain you and your family in the days ahead. In Jesus’ Name, we pray.
