We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your husband up in prayer as you endure this season of deep trial—trauma, financial strain, physical affliction, and spiritual warfare. The weight of these burdens is not lost on us, and we stand with you in the truth that God sees every tear, hears every cry, and holds your future in His hands. The Word reminds us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your pain is not in vain.
First, we must address the foundation of your hope. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your lives fully to Jesus Christ, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved or find true peace in the midst of suffering. If you have already placed your faith in Him, we pray for a fresh infilling of His Holy Spirit to strengthen you both. If not, we plead with you to confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be Lord of your lives. *"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). Salvation is the first and greatest need, for without Christ, all other struggles will only lead to despair.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, lack, and division that seeks to steal your joy, your unity, and your trust in God’s provision. The enemy wants you to believe that your situation is hopeless, but we declare that God is your Provider, your Healer, and your Deliverer. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We speak against the lies that tell you God has abandoned you, for He promises, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5).
For your financial struggles, we pray that God would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. We ask Him to give you wisdom in your job search, favor with employers, and creative ideas to generate income. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also encourage you to seek counsel from your local church or Christian community, as God often provides through the body of Christ. If pride is keeping you from asking for help, we urge you to lay it down. *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6).
For the separation from your daughter, our hearts ache with you. We pray that God would soften the hearts of those in authority and grant you favor in obtaining her visa. We declare that family bonds will be restored and that no weapon formed against your unity will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). In the meantime, we encourage you to stay connected through prayer, calls, and any other means possible. *"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much"* (James 5:16). Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it.
For your physical and emotional pain, we pray for healing and comfort. *"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). We ask the Lord to surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and to give you rest in the midst of this storm. If you have not already, seek godly counsel—whether through pastors, Christian therapists, or support groups—to help you process your trauma in a way that aligns with God’s truth.
For your marriage, we pray that this trial would draw you closer together and not tear you apart. The enemy wants to use hardship to create division, but we declare that your marriage is a covenant before God, and He will sustain you. *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Communicate openly, pray together, and remind each other of God’s faithfulness. Do not let bitterness or resentment take root, for *"love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8).
We also urge you to guard your hearts against despair. It is easy to grow weary when the battle is long, but remember: *"Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up"* (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Worship Him even in the fire, for He is worthy of your praise.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious family. Lord, You see their pain, their fear, and their exhaustion. We ask You to move mightily on their behalf. Provide for their every need—financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can help. Heal their wounds, restore their hope, and draw them closer to You and to one another.
Father, we ask for a miracle regarding their daughter’s visa. Break every chain of bureaucracy, delay, or opposition that stands in the way of their reunion. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.
We pray for their marriage, that You would knit their hearts together in unity and love. Help them to lean on You and on each other, and to remember that Your grace is sufficient for them (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. Fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your strength. Remind them that You are their Refuge and their Fortress (Psalm 91:2), and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power in His name, and no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they come to know You more deeply through this trial. Amen.
