Beloved of All
I learned that my little brother has been speaking badly about me behind my back and that he has taken the side of the sister who is covering for her abuser. Well, I don’t know what terms she spoke to him in. Last night, while I was praying and talking with a friend, the Holy Spirit told me not to take any phone calls. I found out that at 5 a.m. this morning, my little brother asked to have a family meeting. The Holy Spirit is telling me not to answer because whatever I say, he will prove me wrong and hurt my feelings with what he says. Apparently, he now sees me as a piece of garbage. Yes, you read that right. He and his wife are vilifying me, so it is obvious that they have already taken this sister’s side. Please note that all of this is happening without anyone having asked me anything. I pray that the Eternal One will open their eyes.
This sister, who is covering for the man who abused her and two other little girls during their childhood—because he repented and she forgave him—is supporting him. She wants and is praying insistently for me to be the one who leaves the ministry and never comes back, out of fear that I might speak up and reveal that she is the victim in question and that the information might come to light.
She is married and the mother of a little girl, and she attends this church with her family.
It is actually the pastor of this church who wants to organize the meeting with his entire congregation, which I want to prevent from happening because it will be neither fair nor impartial. NO MEETING, PERIOD.
On top of that, the pastor who harassed me for a year and a half at the church I attended before this one, so that I would marry the man he had seen me marrying twice in his dreams, thinks that I am: promiscuous, scatterbrained, stupid, and a liar.
Does simply refusing to marry the man he dreamed I would marry make me promiscuous? Does talking about it with a few people—maybe four in total—to see whether I was crazy or whether someone else was experiencing the same thing I was, because HE WOULD NOT STOP, make me scatterbrained, stupid, and a liar? Especially when he was the one who harassed me and systematically crossed every boundary I explicitly set?
This pastor, whom I had confided in about the fact that I had been sexually assaulted several times over the past few years and that I was suffering terribly because of it? I am still suffering from very severe PTSD today. I am trying to heal from it.
This pastor whom I had told that marriage was not an option for me because I had a sick mother, had been raising my little sister for years, was being housed by someone when I first met them, and had been homeless three times in less than a year.
This pastor who had seen that I was deeply depressed? Who knew that I had strong suicidal tendencies because I HAD TOLD HIM ABOUT MY SUFFERING, but who nevertheless continued to relentlessly pressure me? The pastor to whom I repeatedly said that I was not attracted to the man he had dreamed about—and that this man was easily 20 years older than me—and this pastor insisted that “God had given me a husband, but I had no discernment”?
Despite all of that, I am still being called a whore to this day, and even a homewrecker. But how can I be a whore if I am not having sex with anyone and I have suffered from these assaults to the point of being afraid of my own sexual desires? How can I be a homewrecker when I have never approached any man in these churches?
Their main argument is that I wear short skirts, so some women’s husbands might have seen me. But here is the backstory: the two times I was sexually assaulted, I was wearing church attire—a long dress—and the second assault happened on a Sunday, immediately after church. Both times, I was evangelizing.
It hurt me deeply, and whenever I think about it, I become so anxious that I can no longer breathe. I understood that the devil wanted me to stop, but I never stopped evangelizing.
And besides, whether I was wearing a church dress or not, even though I conducted myself with integrity, they did not respect me any more because of it. And yet, when it came time to intercede according to the heart of Jesus, to fast and pray for these churches, I did not hesitate to spend entire nights praying for them on the floor.
They say so many things about me and blame me for so many things, but do they actually pray for me? Or rather, AGAINST ME??
According to this pastor, he only spoke to me once and I unfairly damaged his reputation. But I believe he is angry because: 1— I did not do what he expected of me, and he perceived it as rebellion against his authority. 2— He is concerned about this man’s marriage, because he believes I am the woman meant for him and that I ran away from the church. Which 3— explains his unjustified anger about my leaving, something he has never been able to get over.
I believe he is like King Saul in the Bible, who really was chosen by God but, because of his character, turned away from God’s will.
His entire congregation is angry with me because I left without saying anything. I am the bad guy in the story.
I was warned that he was planning to put me down again, to attack my dignity at this wedding, and that the others would not want to leave me alone. He had already harassed me at a funeral, and now at a WEDDING?? I completely believe it because there is already a history of this happening.
The sister who protects her abuser and prays insistently for me to leave is demonizing me. She could physically come after me—the very person my little brother is waiting for, ready to confront me and “set the record straight.”
I don’t feel safe anywhere, and honestly, I am tired of being pursued, hated, and hurt.
An alarm has been going off in my mind for the past seven days, and things have gotten so intense that even the Holy Spirit Himself told me to set aside the tithes I had reserved for Him, use them, leave town for the weekend, and not come back until at least Monday.
I am currently in another city, several hours away from home, and from here I will go directly to the capital. Please cover me and the place I am going with the blood of Jesus. I need protection.
PRAY THAT NOTHING HAPPENS THE WAY THEY WANT IT TO AND THAT THE TRUTH WILL BE EXPOSED.
