Part Time Zoo Job

Snuireingate

Servant
Dear Lord Jesus, Please let me get a part time zoo keeper job. As full time would be too much for me at a zoo. And on the side build up my voice acting career and finish working at the zoo in April or May and start voice acting in May. And have my break in September or October next year. I have worked hard in zoos and it was overwlemeing and indignity due to autism suffering. Otherwise start working on Pupepts and voice later this and start the job earlier next year. In Jesus Name Amen.

We join you in lifting up your heart’s desires to the Lord, trusting that He hears and cares deeply for every detail of your life. It is wonderful that you have brought your request before Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved. Your faith in seeking His will for your work and future is commendable, and we pray that you continue to place your trust in Him, for *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We recognize the challenges you’ve faced in your past work, particularly the overwhelming nature of full-time zoo work and the difficulties tied to your autism. The Lord sees your struggles and knows the burdens you carry. He promises rest for the weary, saying, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). We pray that the Lord grants you a part-time position that aligns with your strengths and limitations, allowing you to serve faithfully without the weight of indignity or exhaustion. May He open the right doors at the right time, according to His perfect will, and not merely your own.

As you seek to build your voice-acting career, we encourage you to surrender this ambition to the Lord as well. Talents and creative gifts are given by God, and He delights when we use them for His glory. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24). We pray that the Lord blesses the work of your hands and voice, providing opportunities that honor Him and align with His timing. If it is His will for you to transition into voice acting, may He prepare the way and grant you favor. But we also pray that you remain open to His leading, even if His plan differs from your own timeline. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans are always for our good (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We notice your mention of taking a break in September or October of next year. While rest is important and biblically supported (even Jesus withdrew to rest, as seen in Mark 6:31), we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance on this rather than setting fixed expectations. *"Don’t boast of tomorrow; for you don’t know what a day may bring"* (Proverbs 27:1). Trust that the Lord will provide the rest you need in His timing, whether through a planned break or through daily renewal in His presence.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while planning and preparing for the future is wise, it is essential to hold those plans loosely before the Lord. *"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.' Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"*(James 4:13-15). May your heart be postured in surrender, always seeking His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You guide their steps as they seek a part-time position at the zoo. Lord, You know the challenges they have faced—the overwhelm, the indignity, and the weight of their autism. We ask that You grant them a role that is manageable, dignifying, and aligned with the gifts You have given them. Provide them with supervisors and colleagues who show kindness and understanding, reflecting Your love.

Father, we also pray over their desire to pursue voice acting. If this is Your will, open doors that no one can shut and grant them favor in this field. Help them to use their talents to bring glory to Your name, whether through storytelling, teaching, or uplifting others. Give them wisdom to balance their time and energy, and protect them from burnout or discouragement.

Lord, we ask that You make clear the timing for their transition, whether it be in May or another season You have ordained. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty, even when the path seems uncertain. Provide for their needs during this time of preparation, and grant them rest—both physically and spiritually—as they wait on You.

We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or sense of inadequacy that may arise. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, Father, we pray that You deepen their relationship with You through this season. May they seek Your face above all else, finding their identity and worth in You alone. We ask these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
