Pancreatic cancer

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ### who is battling stage ### pancreatic cancer. Doctors don’t give her much time but I choose to believe the report of the Lord. Thank you everyone! Blessings

We stand with you in faith, believing in the power of our Heavenly Father to bring healing and hope even in the most difficult circumstances. The battle against pancreatic cancer is fierce, but we know that nothing is impossible with God. We choose to believe the report of the Lord, just as you do, for His Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We also hold fast to the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."

We must also address the reality of this situation with honesty and faith. While we pray for healing, we recognize that our times are in God’s hands, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether He chooses to heal physically in this life or call her home to eternal rest, we trust in His perfect will. If has not yet placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we urge her to do so now, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found only in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, offering eternal life to all who believe (John 3:16). If she has already surrendered her life to Christ, we pray that she will find peace and strength in Him, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet filled with faith in Your power and love. We lift up to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon her. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your ability to restore her health according to Your will. If it is Your plan to heal her in this life, we ask that You would strengthen her body, remove every trace of cancer, and renew her with Your life-giving power. If it is Your will to call her home, we pray that You would comfort her with Your presence, surround her with Your peace, and welcome her into Your eternal kingdom.

Father, we also pray for her family and loved ones. Give them strength, comfort, and unwavering faith as they walk this difficult journey. Help them to trust in You, even when the road is hard, and to find hope in Your promises. We ask that You would draw close to them, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, if has not yet placed her faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that You would open her heart to receive Your gift of salvation. May she come to know the love and grace of Jesus, who died for her sins and offers her eternal life. Help her to surrender her life to Him, finding peace and hope in the midst of this battle.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in the name of Jesus, declaring that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We stand on Your Word, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to trust in You completely.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and trusting in His faithfulness. Surround with believers who can pray with her, read Scripture to her, and remind her of God’s love. If she is able, encourage her to spend time in prayer and worship, drawing near to God, who is her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Even in the darkest moments, God is working for her good (Romans 8:28), and we trust that He will carry her through this trial. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep hoping in the Lord.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We’re holding and you close in our hearts right now.

You’ve made a choice, to believe the report of the Lord, and we stand with you in that. It’s not pretending the diagnosis isn’t real; it’s fixing your eyes on the One who holds every breath. We’ve found that in the hardest days, hope isn’t a feeling we work up. It’s a Person. Jesus knows what it is to suffer, and He is near to in her hospital room or living room, in the quiet and the pain alike.

As you walk this road with her, remember that small, ordinary kindnesses are a lifeline. A favorite soup, sitting silently while she rests, reading aloud a psalm, or simply holding her hand, those things don’t fix the illness, but they carry God’s love in a way words can’t always. If others ask how to help, let them bring a meal or take over a chore. It’s not a burden; it’s the body of Christ holding you both up.

We are not people who promise outcomes, but we are people who pray.

Father, we lift to You. You know every cell in her body, and we ask for Your mercy, for healing that reflects Your will, for relief from pain, and for courage that outlasts the hard reports. Surround her with Your peace that doesn’t make sense. Give her medical team clarity and compassion. And hold up this dear one who wrote to us; grant them steady strength, calm their heart, and let them feel carried by Your people. We trust the outcome to You because You are good, and we ask it in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The report of the Lord is life, and He has spoken in His Word. When you choose to believe that report rather than the physician’s sentence, you are planting your feet on the only solid ground there is. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The hearing of faith is not a vague hope, but a resting upon what God has declared. And what has He declared? That He is the God who raises the dead and calls those things which are not as though they were. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform His own purpose, and He has entered into the work of glorifying His Son and making to Himself a people with great zeal. That same zeal is at work even now in the midst of sickness and the shadow of death.

When the outward signs are at their worst, faith finds its truest exercise. It is in the pit and in the time of snow that faith slays the lion. The doctors’ opinion cannot bind the arm of the Lord. The promise stands fast: salvation is of the Lord. And remember that this word “salvation” is a full word, taking in the whole man, body and soul, time and eternity. The Lord does not begin a work only to leave it. The sustaining of the work in your friend’s heart and body is of Him, and the ultimate perfection of that work is of Him also. Do not, therefore, measure the ocean of divine love in a thimble or try to estimate the sublime truths of revelation by drops from the bucket.

Let this trial drive you to enquire of the Lord, not as those who have a right to command, but as those who have a promise to plead. For He has said He will yet be enquired of by the house of Israel. Bear this sickness as a burden of the Word of the Lord, not a burden of despair, but the burden that carries the weight of eternal realities and thrusts you upon the faithfulness of God. The shield of faith is made to receive the fiery darts, not to be hung up as an ornament. Let it bear the blows. A faith that cannot be tested is a faith that cannot save. Heaven’s own forging alone will stand the trial, and that is the operation of the Holy Spirit, given to the hearing of faith.

We are joining with you in this, asking the Lord to appear and cause the winter to end and the time of the singing of birds to come. But whatever comes, the rock of comfort remains: the Word of the Lord endures forever. And if the Spirit of God dwells in her, she is the Lord’s, sealed unto the day of redemption.

We do well to bring such a case before the Lord with loud cries and alleging nought else but mercy. This is the very earnestness He seeks, when we do not merely approach Him, but cast ourselves upon His love with a faith that will not be silent.

Yet hear what is often the snare in our thinking. We imagine that if a great miracle is not done, all is lost. But consider John, who did no miracle at all, and yet fixed the attention of so many cities. Consider the admirable Job, who worked no wonder in sight of the devil, yet made the enemy amazed by a life that shone with an endurance firmer than any adamant. What dead body did Abraham raise? What leper did Isaac cleanse? But care of practice and love of virtue, the life of faith displayed in the furnace of affliction, this is the greater miracle.

You say you choose to believe the report of the Lord. This is right, but let us understand what that report truly proclaims. When our Lord walked upon the sea, He did not show Himself to the multitude, for the miracle was too great to suit their infirmity. Even the disciples could not long behold it. So often, the greatest work He intends is not the one that dazzles the eyes, but the one He works in the hidden depths of the soul. He requires faith of us, not that we might dictate the manner of His deliverance, but that we might be led up to what is higher. He does not say, "Believe ye that I am able to entreat the Father," but, "Believe ye that I am able to do this?"

Do not, therefore, fall into the error of those who perished because they aimed at the glory that miracles bring. Even after the loaves were multiplied, the disciples forgot and had to be taught again. The report of the Lord is not a mere guarantee of bodily continuance, for that can be given and yet the soul be lost. The true report is that He is benevolent and provident, and gives even to them that ask not. If His answer seems delayed or comes in a form the doctors cannot measure, know that He proceeds not at once to the outward miracle because He is calling forth something greater: a faith that is a shield, put before the whole soul as a rampart to which all things yield.

Whether this be the beginning of a new work of healing or another kind of miracle, it is unnecessary to assert positively. Let your prayer be this: that whether by life or by death, she may display an endurance no calamity can shake, and that her testimony may run with greater boldness, proving that the Preaching is not hindered by the failing of the body. For the tongue of faith cannot be bound; it runs on the rather and is supported in its bonds. This is the victory, when faith itself becomes the miracle.
