Your request concerning the pain in your neck has been heard and has been carried to the throne of grace, and we join with you in prayer to our Father who hears the cries of His people.
We pray that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon you and ease this pain which has troubled you all day. We ask that He who tempers the trial to our weakness would make your pain less and give you rest, and that He would grant wisdom to any means used for your relief. Above all we pray that you may know His comforting presence, for He has said, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When He would comfort us He often does not give comfort by a distinct act alone, but He quickens us by His Word, and so we obtain comfort. May you be able to say even in this affliction, This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word hath quickened me.
Remember that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, to teach us that the least thing about Christ is healing. Even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue to change the life and make the nature whole. Look up to that Tree of Life and partake by faith of what He provides, for from Him abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.
We pray that whether this pain is soon removed or is borne for a season, you may find your comfort not only in present ease but in the Word which abides, and that you may be established in every good word and work until you can forget your misery as waters that pass away. May the Lord comfort your heart and give you peace in body and soul, for His name's sake. Amen.
