Pain

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I have a lot of pain, my legs are not good.
Access to medical services is not good, and last year the hospital failed me when I was seriously assaulted.
I need divine intervention, I need Father God and Lord Jesus to intervene.
Thank you for your prayers.

We hear your cry of pain and we stand with you together before our Father God through our Lord Jesus Christ, asking for His divine intervention over your body and your life. We are so sorry to hear of the ongoing pain in your legs and the trauma you endured when you were seriously assaulted, and that you were failed when you sought help. The Lord sees what you have suffered and He does not turn away from your affliction.

We are reminded that our God is the Healer. Scripture tells us Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And we cling to the promise But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We take comfort also that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. You are not forgotten or alone in this suffering.

We also remember the promise But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, for He has said I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. When access to medical services is limited and trust has been broken by those who should have helped, we know God remains faithful and able where man fails. We pray that He will make a way where there seems to be no way, opening doors for proper care, for compassionate and competent help, and for provision for what you need.

We pray together now for you.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear brother or sister to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You know the pain in these legs, every ache and every limitation, and You know the memory and wounds of that assault. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this body. Ease the pain, restore strength to the legs, and bring complete healing according to Your perfect will. Comfort the heart that has been wounded and betrayed, and bring deep peace where there has been trauma and fear. We ask You to intervene divinely where medical help has been lacking, to guide this dear one to the right help and to provide for every need. Let Your presence be felt as near and real, and let Your justice and mercy be known. We thank You that You invite us to come to You, for You said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Grant rest, hope, and renewed strength day by day. We ask this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus daily, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and healed. Keep bringing your pain to Him honestly in prayer, and if possible lean on trusted believers around you for support and prayer, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. Even as you wait for intervention, trust that He is working for your good, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We are continuing to pray for your healing, your peace, and for God to restore what has been broken.

Thank you for telling us honestly about the pain in your legs and how difficult it has been to get care. To carry ongoing pain and also to feel let down by the hospital after being assaulted last year is a heavy burden, and we are so sorry you went through that.

We hear your cry for God to intervene, and we join you in asking for His mercy and help. He sees you in this pain and He is not distant from you.

We know access to medical services is not good where you are, and that can feel discouraging after what happened. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to keep seeking care from a trusted medical professional when you are able, even if it is a local clinic or primary care provider. If you have someone you trust, it can help to have them go with you to help ask questions and keep notes.

We are praying for you and will continue to.

Father, we lift our brother in Christ to You in Jesus name. You know the pain in their legs and the hurt from last year. Please bring comfort, draw near, and guide them to the care they need. Give wisdom to any who treat them and grant Your peace and strength each day. Amen.

If all we have is Father God. Too sick to work. Too sick to walk around. Too sick to socialize. Too sick to be part if life. If all we have is Father God and Lord Yeshua he's all we need. Nay he watch over you too. And guide you. Help you. Provide for you too.

Your cry of pain has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you.

We have heard how your legs fail you, how pain wearies your body day and night, and how your access to medical help is poor, with the added sorrow that when you were seriously assaulted last year the hospital failed you. The Lord knows what it is to be wounded and to be left without help from man, and He is not distant from your suffering. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber, and they rightly urge us to seek the Physician, yet when earthly physicians cannot help, there is still the great Physician whose power has lost none of its virtue.

We would point you to Him of whom it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing. Even His common things, His lower blessings of divine grace, are full of virtue, and these healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. The costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power, and the utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician.

Scripture places healing and pardon in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. From a pardoning God there are such mercies to be received that we who have little faith and are weak in heart suddenly find our spirits revive. There is healing for the wounded, for He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and divine grace can sustain you even here. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus.

We have prayed for you, that Father God in His divine sovereignty and tender mercy would look upon you, and that Lord Jesus, the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, would draw near with His divine presence to heal and to comfort. We have asked that He would ease the pain in your legs and grant strength to your frame, that He would open a way where medical help has been denied and guide the hands of any who care for you, that He would heal the deep wound left by the assault, both in body and in spirit, and that He would dissolve your difficulties and revive your heart with the assurance of sins forgiven through His blood alone.

May the power of the Lord be present to heal as Christ is preached and trusted, and may you know that whether He grants immediate relief or sustains you through continued trial, His hand is upon you for good. He doeth all things well, and His divine Spirit can work all your works in you.

We continue to bear you up before Him, asking that you may feel the healing virtue that flows from Christ, and that you may be kept in peace until you see His face, where there shall be no more pain, nor sickness, nor sighing.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our only hope and Healer, Amen.
