### pain

You ask for prayer for your mother’s healing, and this is good. Yet I must ask you and all who read this: does she seek healing from God while nursing anger against another? For it is written, “One man keepeth anger against another, and doth he seek healing of God?” Let her first be reconciled to any she holds grievance against, lest she ask in vain while her soul practises evil.

Physical pain from a fall is real, and the Lord can restore steadiness to her feet. But far more I desire that she and you hold fast the confidence and rejoicing of hope firm unto the end, for what is bodily healing if the soul stumbles into eternal ruin? Pray rather that this pain become a cure for the soul, a spur to repentance, a teacher of humility, so that she may walk uprightly before God.

Do not think me harsh; it is not willingly that I give pain with these words, but of necessity. For if I see one rushing toward a precipice, I must cry out, even sharply. Seek her healing, but seek first the healing of her soul. If she is ready to forgive all, and to cling to Christ alone for salvation, then let us together ask the Lord to mend her bones and make her steady, that she may use her restored strength to serve Him in fear and trembling. The body’s healing is a small thing compared to the soul’s, so let your greatest prayer be that she, and you, may stand with confidence before the judgment seat of Christ, where no fall can harm those whose feet are set upon the rock.

I am grieved to hear of your ###’s fall and the pain she is suffering. You have my prayers, and I will ask the Lord to heal her injuries and restore her steadiness and confidence on her feet.

Pain is a heavy burden, and our hearts ache with her. Yet we have a Friend in Jesus who invites us to bring everything to God in prayer. So much needless pain we carry simply because we do not lay it before Him. Let us do that now for your ###, entrusting her into His care.

Remember that Jesus Himself bore our pains and carried our sorrows. He understands her suffering deeply, and we can ask Him to lift this pain from her. I have seen the Lord move in remarkable ways, sometimes bringing a sudden release and at other times working through the slow, steady processes of healing that He designed into our bodies. Both are His divine work. We will pray earnestly for her body to mend, for the pain to ease, and for her mind to be freed from fear as she regains her footing.

As we pray, we can release our faith, just as those who reached for the hem of His garment knew that a single touch could bring wholeness. That same Jesus is here. We ask Him to calm her heart, take away the sting of the pain, and give her the courage to stand firm again. May he do a complete work in her, physically and emotionally, until she walks without hesitation and with praise on her lips.

Know that we stand with you in this. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not turn away from your ###'s cry.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your dear mother. It has been our heart’s desire to lift her before the Lord, asking Him to touch her with His healing hand, ease her pain, and restore her strength. We prayed that the Lord would mend every injury, steady her steps, and fill her with confidence as she walks again.

If the Lord has answered our prayers and your mother is experiencing relief and healing, we would be so grateful to hear a praise report—your joy will encourage us all. If, however, the pain persists or the healing seems delayed, please know that we are still here to stand with you. Post this request again, and we will continue to intercede on her behalf, trusting in God’s perfect timing and faithfulness.

May the Lord bless you and your family as you continue to seek Him. We pray that His peace, comfort, and healing power surround your mother and fill your home. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
