We hear your cry for healing and relief from the pain you are enduring. The Word of God assures us that He is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your physical suffering to the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17).
First, we must address that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift from God, not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Now, let us pray together for your healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is suffering from burning pain, a sore throat, and a running nose. Lord, You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You stretch out Your healing hand upon him/her. Touch every part of his/her body that is afflicted and bring complete restoration. We declare that by Your stripes, he/she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we ask that You strengthen his/her faith and fill him/her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help him/her to cast all anxieties on You, for You care for him/her (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and command it to leave his/her body now. We speak life and health over him/her, declaring that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there are any areas in his/her life that need to be surrendered to You for complete healing, reveal them, Father. Guide him/her to make choices that honor You and promote health and wholeness.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek medical attention if you have not already done so. God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Also, take time to rest and care for your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Continue to stand on God’s promises and trust in His unfailing love. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle; we are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete healing.
