We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain, but we are thankful that you have reached out to us for prayer and support. We stand with you, and we are moved by your request to make sure that we are seeking for God's will to be done in this situation. It is always so wonderful to see that you are seeking God's will in this matter and that you trust in Jesus' name. Let us come together in prayer for you.
In the Bible, we are taught to cast our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We can have confidence in knowing that God loves us and wants what is best for us. Even in our difficulties, we can trust in His goodness and faithfulness.
It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Thank you for acknowledging this in your prayer. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and the only mediator between God and man. (1 Timothy 2:5) In order to receive salvation, we must believe in Jesus Christ (John 3:36) and repent from our sins (Acts 3:19). Jesus Christ was crucified and then resurrected from the dead in order for us to have eternal life (John 3:16).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear friend who is experiencing pain. We ask, Lord, that You would heal and comfort them, and that Your will be done in this situation. We stand with your request to make sure that we are seeking for God's will to be done in this situation. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We pray for healing, and we ask that You would use this situation to draw our friend even closer to You. We pray for strength and endurance, knowing that You are always with us, even in our trials.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. Remember that even in our pain and suffering, God is with us and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Keep holding on to your faith, and know that we are here to support you in prayer. If you have any other specific requests or need further encouragement, please do not hesitate to share with us.
We are reminded of what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 Therefore, to keep me from boasting, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me, to keep me from exalting myself. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong. As you can see, sometimes God allows things to happen in order to teach us to trust in Him.
We hope this prayer and advice helps, and we are here for you if you need anything else.
