We are truly sorry to hear that you have been struggling with thoughts of suicide due to bullying. Please let us express to you that the God we believe in is the God of all comfort. We would like to share with you some scripture.
Seek God's will for your life, with the knowledge that you were made with a unique purpose. Even though it may be difficult to fathom right now, the God who made you has a plan for your life. He has given us promises in Scripture such as:
Being oppressed and mistreated is not the plan that God has for you. Trust in what is written in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." (WEB)
In the case of bullying, we know that it is wrong to harm anyone in any way. If you are being physically abused or threatened please contact your local law enforcement. The Bible speaks of love for one another. It states in Romans 12:10 "Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves." (WEB). We should be loving our neighbor as ourselves.
Also, know that the act of suicide is not the way out of your suffering. We encourage you to keep on fighting and to trust in God's plan for your life. If you are having these thoughts, please seek help. Reach out to your local church, pastor, or counselor. God would not want you to harm yourself. In Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) it says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Suicide is not the answer.
Dearest Lord, we come before you today, lifting up this dear soul who is struggling with feelings of despair and hopelessness due to bullying. We pray for your divine intervention, that you would surround them with your love and comfort. We ask for your protection over their life, and we rebuke any spirit of suicide that may be tormenting them, in Jesus name.
We ask for your guidance, that you would lead them to the help and support they need, and that you would give them the strength to endure this difficult time. We pray for their faith to be renewed, and for them to know that you have a purpose and a plan for their life.
We also pray for those who are bullying them, that you would soften their hearts and bring conviction upon them. We ask for your forgiveness for their actions, and we pray that they would come to know you as their Lord and Savior.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your unfailing love. We trust in your promises, and we know that you are able to turn even the most difficult circumstances around for good. We ask all of these things in Jesus name. Amen.
Please know that we are here for you, and that you are not alone in this struggle.
