Beloved of All
Your request for relief from the pain of cancer has been heard and we are bringing it before the Lord with you in prayer.
We know how heavy this kind of suffering is, when pain wears down both body and spirit and there seems to be no relief. Scripture tells us that God is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in our affliction so that we can endure and find strength in Him. Even when we suffer, we are not alone, for Christ Himself knows our pain and draws near to those who call on Him.
We pray for you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your mercy upon this dear one who is suffering from cancer. We ask that You would grant relief from pain, give rest in body and peace in mind, and guide the hands of those who provide care. Grant comfort that sustains day by day, and strength to endure with a clear hope in You. Above all we ask that Your presence would be felt closely, reminding this heart that nothing can separate us from Your love in Christ, and that for those who are in Christ there is the sure hope of resurrection and of being ever with the Lord. We ask this trusting not in our own worth but in the grace and healing that comes through Jesus alone, who is our only Savior and our true comfort.
We will continue to pray for you, that God would ease your pain according to His wise and loving will, uphold you with His comfort, and fill you with His peace that passes understanding. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and may you find each day His grace sufficient for you.
