Beloved of All
Your request for relief from these painful attacks in your leg has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus.
We know how wearying it is when pain keeps you from sleep, and how night which God gave as a haven and a medicine for our wounds can instead become a time of distress. Take comfort that even when you cannot sleep, the Lord does not sleep. As the Psalm says, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep, and He keeps watch over you through the night.
Let us pray together:
Lord Jesus Christ, You know this suffering and this need for rest. We ask You in Your mercy to touch this leg, to calm these attacks of pain, and to grant relief and healing according to Your will. Ease the pain so that sleep may come, restore strength to the body, and give peace to the heart that looks to You. Help us to trust Your care in the night as well as in the day, and to rest in Your keeping. Grant wisdom for any care that is needed and comfort that comes from Your presence. We ask this in Your holy name, Amen.
Continue to cast your care on Him, for He cares for you. Keep seeking Him in prayer through the night watches, and do not hesitate to seek good medical care as well while you trust the Great Physician for His mercy and help. May the Lord grant you relief, quiet sleep, and renewed strength.
