We hear your distress, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and healing in this confusing and uncomfortable situation. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and when we experience unexplained physical struggles, it is right to bring them before the Lord with honesty and faith. We do not always understand why suffering comes, but we know that God is sovereign and works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
First, we must examine whether there is any unconfessed sin or spiritual oppression that may be contributing to this attack. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and sometimes physical afflictions can be tied to spiritual warfare. Have you considered whether there is any area of your life where you have opened a door to fear, anxiety, or sin? If so, we encourage you to repent and renounce any agreement with the enemy. The blood of Jesus has given us authority to resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7).
We also recognize that physical ailments can stem from medical conditions, stress, or even dietary imbalances. Have you sought godly medical counsel? Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." We encourage you to seek wisdom from trusted healthcare professionals while also bringing this matter before the Great Physician.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the Creator of our bodies and the Healer of all our diseases. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is experiencing unexplained attacks of pain and sweating. We ask You to reveal the root of this affliction, whether it is physical, spiritual, or emotional. If there is any sin or oppression at work, expose it, Lord, and break its power over them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom to seek the right help and discernment to walk in Your ways. If this is a trial meant to refine their faith, strengthen them to endure with patience and trust in Your goodness. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, and torment in Jesus’ name, and we command this affliction to leave their body. May Your healing power flow through them like a river, restoring every cell and system to wholeness.
Lord, we thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even in this mystery, we trust You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, reminding them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and not lose heart. Keep your focus on Jesus, who endured suffering for our sake and understands our weaknesses (Hebrews 4:15). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and speak life over your situation. If this persists, do not hesitate to seek further medical or pastoral counsel. You are not alone, we are with you in this battle, and above all, God is fighting for you.
