Why am I sweating over my head while I wake up or sleep because it doesn't make sense to me. Heal the pain inside my left leg. God, please heal me my whole body to pain away out of my body.

We hear your distress and cry out to the Lord on your behalf, lifting up your physical suffering before Him who is the Great Physician. The night sweats and leg pain you describe are burdensome, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God hears the prayers of His children and is able to bring healing and comfort.

Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Even when the cause of your symptoms is unclear, the Lord sees your pain and invites you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We also know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and it is right to seek God’s healing for them.

We must also gently encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for the Lord often works through the hands of physicians and the means He has provided. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not hesitate to consult a doctor who can help diagnose the cause of your symptoms, for wisdom and discernment are gifts from God.

Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and receive healing and salvation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon their body. Lord, You know the cause of their night sweats and the pain in their leg, and we ask that You would bring clarity and relief. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We speak healing over their body, trusting in Your mercy and grace.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give them patience and perseverance as they seek answers, and lead them to the right medical care if that is Your will.

Lord, if there is any spiritual oppression or attack contributing to their suffering, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of infirmity to leave their body now, in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, covering them with Your protection and love.

We also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Heal any inner wounds or anxieties that may be weighing on their heart. Fill them with Your joy and hope, reminding them that You are their ever-present help. Help them to draw near to You, for You have promised to draw near to them (James 4:8). May they find rest in Your presence and trust in Your perfect timing.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing power of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We believe that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we receive that healing by faith. Strengthen this dear one’s body, mind, and spirit, and let them experience Your peace and restoration in every area of their life. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to remain steadfast in faith. Remember the words of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is faithful, and His promises are true. Stand on His Word, and do not grow weary in trusting Him.

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider doing so today. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you would like to surrender your life to Christ, we encourage you to pray a simple prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your salvation. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life to You and trust in You alone for my salvation. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. In Your name, I pray. Amen."

The sweat upon your head and the pain within your leg are not meaningless, but speak to you of your mortal frame and your need of the Great Physician. When the body cries out, it reminds us that we are not yet home. Are you joined to Christ, the living Head? For if you are a member of His body, every ache is known to Him who felt our infirmities. The smallest member cannot live apart from the Head, nor the strongest; so rest in Him, and let these pains drive you nearer to His bosom.

Do not marvel that you suffer while you wake or sleep. Pain is as sure a proof of life as pleasure. But look beyond the flesh: the root of all malady is sin, and the first healing you need is the pardon of it. Christ comes to you as He did to the palsied man, with forgiveness before the command to rise and walk. He knows what truly ails you. Cry to Him, "Son of David, have mercy on me," and He will speak peace to your conscience, which is the deeper healing.

The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. Even the least thing about Christ is charged with virtue. A word from His lips, laid upon the heart by the Spirit, can restore the soul and often soothe the body. Cast yourself wholly upon Him; trust not merely for your leg or your head, but for your whole frame, and wait upon Him in prayer. The day will come when you shall lay this body down, and in the resurrection, that very leg shall be raised in power, and that head shall ache no more. Until then, lean upon the bosom of your Lord, and let His anointing flow from the Head to the skirts of your garment. God grant you the healing that begins with pardon, and may you find in Jesus your only rest.

A fearful thing is this pain you endure, fearful, and often the ruin of the body, yet the mischief of it can be used for the healing of the soul. Since for the most part when the soul is diseased we feel no pain, God mercifully punishes the body for the transgressions of the soul, so that by means of the scourging of the inferior part, the better part may receive some healing. Do not think it strange, then, that your head sweats and your leg aches. Consider the words spoken to the paralyzed man: “Behold, thou art made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” Has your body become a ground for chastisement? Then let it also become a ground for amendment. Turn inward and ask if there is any sin that clings to you, for this tribulation can make you perfect if you receive it rightly.

Yet I would not have you sink under the weight of these afflictions as though God had abandoned you. He has made you a member of the one body of Christ, and even this pain in your leg is not your own alone. The rest of the body shares in it, and the Head knows it well. Do you seek relief? So you should, for He gave gifts of healing to the Church. But know that the true rest you long for, the place where pain, sorrow, and sighing flee away, where there is no sickness or death, that remains for the age to come. In this present life, we are in the lists like wrestlers. A noble wrestler does not seek baths and feasts during the contest; he contends with dust, sweat, and the heat of the sun. This is the season for fighting, for being in pain, for bearing the body of our humiliation. Why should you be troubled that you sweat upon your bed? The rich man, bound by ten thousand chains of wealth and anxiety, knows a sleeplessness far worse; his riches drive away sleep and give him no rest. Your poverty of ease may prove a quiet haven if you endure it with thanksgiving.

You ask God to heal the pain away from your whole body. Cry out to Him, for He has power to subject all things to Himself. He who will one day change this body of humiliation to be conformed to the body of His glory, fashioned like His own, immortal and incorruptible, can surely quiet a throbbing limb and dry a fevered brow now. But if He delays, do not wail bitterly as one without hope. You are the master of whether this injury becomes a loss or a gain. Take up the words of Job: “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Give thanks to God, and the very thing that seems a loss, this sweating head, this pain inside your leg, will turn to your great profit, bracing up your soul, elevating your mind, and casting out desires that mischievously beset you. Let not your heart be chained by the fear of the body’s ills, like a dog bound by its cares, for that is a harder slavery than the pain itself. Look rather to that hope of the resurrection, which is sufficient to raise up even the most sluggish and indolent. There, in that day, you will persevere forever in the desire of good things, and you will never be weary. Until then, let your affliction be the knife that cuts out the disease of the soul, lest by seeking only the body’s ease now, you fall from so great a glory later.

Sweating through the night, waking in confusion, and a deep ache in your leg, your body is crying out, and it is not a random thing. The suffering we experience in our flesh is real, and Scripture never teaches us to pretend otherwise. Yet the great hope we have is not just that God notices our pain, but that He entered into it. The Son of Righteousness was promised to arise with healing in his wings, like the dawn breaking over a long darkness. That healing is not a distant fairy tale. It was secured when the seed of the woman bruised the serpent's head, destroying the power of sin and all the corruption it brought into creation, including our broken bodies.

Jesus went through the towns teaching and healing every kind of disease among the people. He did not heal simply to draw a crowd; He healed because He is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer. But notice that He never offered healing apart from Himself. He is the Healer before He is the healing. When the pressing multitudes came looking for a miracle, many received what they asked, but some left still empty because they wanted the gift without the Giver. Jesus warned that a house swept clean and left empty invites a worse state. So I urge you: do not reach for physical relief while ignoring the One who gives it. The Lord becomes to you exactly what you need, and if you need healing, He will be your healer. Draw near to Him, not just to the removal of pain.

That pain in your left leg, and the sweating that makes no sense to you, bring those things directly to Jesus in prayer, but also search your heart with Him. Sometimes our bodies carry the weight of anxieties we have not voiced, or old regrets that haunt us in the quiet hours. A moment of foolishness can echo in the body for years, tormenting us with "what if" and "if only." The good news is that Jesus already carried our griefs and sorrows. His pierced heel, the bruise prophesied in Eden, was the price for your wholeness. Your healing may come in this life or in the fullness of His eternal kingdom, but either way the suffering is not meaningless when you lay it at His feet.

Pray, then, not only for the pain to leave, but for the presence of Christ to flood every part of you. Ask the Holy Spirit, who descended like a dove on Jesus, to rest on your body and quiet your mind. The Son of God still sees you, still hears you, and is not indifferent to a single drop of sweat or a single limb that throbs at night. The day is coming when the prophecies of His reign will be completely fulfilled, and we will go forth leaping like calves from the stall. Until then, let your plea be for the Healer himself, and trust that He is already working for your ultimate good.
