In these troubled times, we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is indeed in control, even when the world seems chaotic. The escalating tensions between Iran, the USA, and Israel have caused many to feel overwhelmed and fearful. But we are called to cast our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us. Peter 5:7 7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
We pray for the leaders of these nations, that God would guide their steps and turn their hearts toward peace. We rebuke the spirit of fear and remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
We lift up the widows, the orphans, and the fatherless, who are so often the innocent victims of conflict. We pray that God would comfort them, provide for them, and protect them. We remember the words of James 1:27, that pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
We also pray for ourselves and all sinners everywhere, that we would be ready for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We trust in His promise, that when we see these things beginning to happen, we should look up, for our redemption is near. Luke 21:28
But let us not forget, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
So, let us come boldly before the throne of grace, to receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need. We trust in the promise of His coming, and we eagerly await the day when He will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither will there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4
Let us pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up the nations involved in this conflict. We pray for peace, for wisdom, and for a swift resolution. We ask that You would comfort the widows, the orphans, and the fatherless. We ask that You would draw all men to Yourself, and that we would be ready for the coming of Your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In His precious name we pray.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
