Beloved of All
Father, God Almighty, thank you for our mercy, your forgiving grace and your faithfulness, thank you for our greatest gift, Christ our Lord, Yeshua.
Father, forgive us that we have fallen a sleep, that we are not set a part but have become a part of, that the mountains we pray about remain, that we fail to exercise the power given us, the signs and wonders promised us, that we are blown to and fro, with what glitters, what tickles our ears, if only we truly believed a mountain could move at our command, that peace spoken to the storm calmed it, Father, like Peter and John, that people came from all around, in hopes of just their shadow would fall upon them, that power, that faith, working together, for your glory.
Father we tell of your wonders, we tell of your glory, that You are the answer, yet the brokenness remains, be the result in our lives with Your power and might. The prophets prayed, the heavens closed up and no rain, the prophets prayed and the heavens opened and rained. Moses stretched out his hand and You parted the Red Sea. Christ prayed, and the elements multiplied, the storm ceased, the lepers cleansed, the lame walked, the dead rose, Your power, Your Might.
Father I can only imagine, if we were to truly pray, truly believe and truly trust, as one, with You, before You, and set aside the lies, the deception and our sleep, our fear and our doubt, and truly press in, our brokenness could, would, heal. Our very being, our souls, cry out for you, we hunger for You, help in barren land, to know You, to experience You, reveal Yourself to us, who thirst, who cry out, the body of Christ.
To You the Glory, in all things, and in all things we sing of your praises, yes even in our brokenness, we praise you, be Glorified, in the powerful name of Christ our Lord, Yeshua, Amen
