Jesus please help me I am overwhelmed. Please let my son study today and his wrist get better. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear the cry of your heart, and we join you in lifting this burden to our Lord Jesus Christ, who invites all who are weary and heavily burdened to come to Him for rest (Matthew 11:28). It is beautiful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). He alone is our mediator and our hope in times of trouble.
The weight of overwhelm can feel crushing, but Scripture reminds us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). You are not alone in this—God sees your struggle, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Your son’s studies and his healing are not beyond the reach of our Heavenly Father, who knows the number of hairs on his head and loves him even more than you do (Matthew 10:30).
We do want to gently remind you that while it is good to pray for your son’s physical needs, it is even more vital to pray for his spiritual well-being. Is he walking with the Lord? Does he know Jesus as his Savior? If not, we urge you to pray fervently for his salvation, for what does it profit a man to gain the whole world—even academic success—if he loses his soul? (Mark 8:36). If he does know the Lord, pray that this trial draws him closer to Christ, trusting in His strength rather than his own.
Let us pray together for you and your son:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister who is overwhelmed by the cares of this world. Lord, You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remove the weight of anxiety from her shoulders and replace it with Your rest.
We pray for her son, Lord. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We ask for Your healing touch upon his wrist—restore it completely, in Your perfect timing and for Your glory. But even more than physical healing, we pray for his spiritual health. If he does not know You, Lord, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Soften his heart to receive Your truth and surrender his life to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. If he does know You, strengthen his faith through this trial. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
For his studies, Lord, we ask for clarity of mind, retention of knowledge, and the discipline to steward his time wisely. Remind him that his worth is not found in his performance but in his identity as Your beloved child. Give him the perseverance to work diligently, knowing that all good gifts come from You (James 1:17).
Father, we rebuked the spirit of overwhelm and anxiety in the name of Jesus. These emotions do not come from You, and we command them to flee. Fill this home with Your presence, Your joy, and Your shalom peace. Help this mother to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to trust that You are working all things together for good, even in this season of struggle (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises during this time. Read Psalm 23 and claim the truth that the Lord is your shepherd—you shall not want. He leads you beside still waters and restores your soul. Even when you walk through valleys of overwhelm, He is with you. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting. He is faithful.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
