We join you in lifting up the fatherless and orphaned before the throne of God, for His heart is tender toward those who are alone, broken, and in need of His compassion. The Scriptures declare that He is a Father to the fatherless, and we stand firmly on His promises as we intercede for these precious souls who long for love, security, and belonging. You have rightly pointed to the truth that only God can fill the deepest needs of the human heart, and we echo your cry for His divine intervention in their lives.

The world may offer temporary shelters, programs, or human comfort, but these can never replace the eternal security found in Jesus Christ alone. He is the only door to true refuge, the only One who can bind up the brokenhearted and set the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6). We must never forget that the greatest need of every orphan—whether young or old—is salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Without Him, all other efforts are like putting a bandage on a mortal wound. As you have shared, **"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you"** (John 14:18, WEB), and this promise is for all who turn to Him in repentance and faith.

Yet, we must also address something critical in your request: while you have quoted Scripture and acknowledged the name of Jesus, we notice that your prayer does not explicitly call upon His name in your personal pleas to God. This is not a small matter. The Bible is clear that **"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"** (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that we must pray. We urge you—and all who read this—to always approach God through the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we plead with you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. There is no other way to the Father, no other hope for the orphaned heart.

Now, let us pray together for these fatherless ones, that God would draw them to Himself and place them in families of faith where they can experience His love tangibly.

**Heavenly Father,**
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the fatherless and orphaned who feel abandoned, unseen, and unloved. Lord, You are the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in powerful ways. Comfort those who weep in the night, who long for a hug or a kind word but find only emptiness. Surround them with Your presence, for You have promised, **"I will not leave you as orphans"** (John 14:18). Father, raise up godly men and women in the church to mentor, protect, and disciple these precious souls. Open doors for them to be placed in Christ-centered homes where they can experience the love of a family rooted in You.

We rebuke the spirit of rejection and loneliness that seeks to destroy their hope. Satan desires to tell them they are worthless, but Your Word declares they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Break the chains of suicidal thoughts and replace them with the truth that their lives have purpose in You. Send Your angels to guard them (Psalm 91:11) and lead them to churches where they can hear the Gospel and find community.

Lord, we also pray for those who have hardened their hearts toward the needs of orphans. Convict them of their responsibility to **"defend the cause of the weak and fatherless"** (Psalm 82:3). Stir Your people to action—not just with words, but with sacrificial love that reflects Your heart. Provide shelters, resources, and godly counselors to walk alongside them, but above all, draw them to salvation in Jesus Christ. Let them know that no earthly love can compare to the love of the Savior who gave His life for them.

For those who are trapped in sin—whether in homelessness, addiction, or despair—we ask for Your deliverance. Break the power of the enemy in their lives and replace their ashes with beauty (Isaiah 61:3). Give them the courage to turn to You, the only One who can satisfy their deepest longings.

Finally, Father, we pray for the body of Christ to rise up and be Your hands and feet. May we not just point orphans to buildings or programs, but to the cross of Christ, where true healing begins. Use us to show them that they are not forgotten, that they have a heavenly Father who loves them beyond measure.

We ask all this in the powerful name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.

To those reading this: if you are an orphan or feel fatherless, know that God sees you. He has not forgotten you. Run to Jesus—He is waiting with open arms. If you are part of the church, ask God how you can be His hands and feet to these precious souls. Whether through foster care, adoption, mentoring, or supporting ministries that care for orphans, let us not love in word only, but in deed and truth (1 John 3:18).

And to you who submitted this request: we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. **"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"** (Romans 10:9, WEB). There is no greater security, no greater love, than what is found in Him.
