God bless u. Well we have to truely honest to the best of our ability when we come before God. He rewards good, & punishes evil. Since you mentioned that you are absent quite often, most employers wants someone who they can depend on, someone reliable, trustworthy. Think about it, if you employe someone, & they are not reliable & responsable, what would you do about that person?
The word of God says :satan comes to steal, to kill, to destroy. Examine yourself before God, & tell Him what keeps you (what is the theif in your life that going to put you in bondage even financially?) Sometimes our lifestyles robs us of blessings from God. If it an illness, then get doctors letters. Surrender those hinderances that is in your life in Jesus name. Ask Jesus in your life today, & repent of all your sins for Jesus died for the very obstables that are strongholds in our lives.
Father in the name of Jesus, as this person submitt & surrender their lives to You, You will begin to deliver them from the strongholds in Jesus name. Father, open the the eyes of their heart, the ears of their heart to You today in Jesus name. I pray that since YOU know the strongholds and the very thing or power that keeps this individual away from YOU, away from work and as he/she personally surrender it to YOU, that You will be mercifull, touching the heart of the employer, supervisor to be merciful for this person in Jesus name.
