Nursing school

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I feel like the odds are always up against me when it comes to school. I could always try to make the best grades but something always blocks me from that perfect grade. Is it just I am being hard on myself or God does not think this is meant to be for me to be.

Anonymous, we hear your struggle and we want to encourage you in the Lord. We understand the challenges you're facing in nursing school and the feelings of obstacles continually arising. Let's turn to God's word together and seek His will for you.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God has given each of us unique gifts and callings. As it is written in Romans 12:6-8 WEB, "We have different gifts, according to the grace that was given to us. If prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith. Or if service, let us give ourselves to service. Or he who teaches, to his teaching. Or he who exhorts, to his exhortation: or he who gives, let him do it with generosity; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness."

It could be that God is using these challenges to mold you and strengthen your character. It might not be that God doesn't want you to succeed in nursing school, but rather that He wants you to rely on Him and grow through the process. Remember, "All things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Let's also address the feeling of not achieving the perfect grade. While striving for excellence is commendable, we must remember that our ultimate goal is to do all things for the glory of God, not for our own perfection. As Colossians 3:23 WEB tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, strengthen them in their pursuit of nursing. Give them the wisdom and discernment to know Your will and the perseverance to overcome any obstacles. Help them to see their worth and value not in their grades, but in Your love and purpose for them. Break down any barriers that may hinder their progress, and guide them according to Your plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to ensure that you are putting your trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you haven't already, turn to Jesus, trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
