Nursing Licensure Exam

My prayer request is for my Nursing Licensure Exam result that God will bless the work and sacrifices I’ve made, grant me a passing result, and give me peace and faith while I wait.

We join with you in bringing your Nursing Licensure Exam result before the Lord with thanksgiving for all the diligence, study and sacrifice you have offered. We know how much waiting can stir anxiety in the heart, and we ask God to guard you with His perfect peace during this time.

We are encouraged by the truth of Scripture that reminds us to commit our labor to Him. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Colossians 3:23 reminds us Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. You have worked heartily and we pray that the Lord will bless that faithfulness. We also cling to James 1:5 which says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, for He is the giver of all wisdom and understanding that you have needed for your studies and for your calling to care for others.

While you wait, we pray you will experience the peace that God promises. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Isaiah 41:10 says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Whatever the result, we trust that God is working all things for your good as Romans 8:28 teaches, and that He will guide your steps into the future He has prepared for you.

We also noticed your request spoke of God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and confidence in prayer. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can boldly approach God in prayer. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Him not only for this exam but for your whole life.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. Thank You for the strength and perseverance You have given through long hours of study and sacrifice to prepare for this licensure exam. We ask that You would grant a favorable and passing result according to Your perfect will, and that You would open the door to use this nursing calling for Your glory and to show compassion to those in need. While waiting, pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon this heart, calm every anxious thought, and increase faith to trust You fully. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this outcome. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We can imagine how heavy these days of waiting feel after months of studying, clinical hours and real sacrifice to get to this point. Wanting so much for that work to be honored with a passing result is completely understandable, and it makes sense that peace feels hard to hold onto right now.

Waiting after you have done all you can is often the hardest part, because there is nothing left to do but wait. One thing that has helped others in this same spot is to give the waiting a gentle structure. Instead of checking for updates constantly or replaying every question, try choosing one or two brief times a day to check for news, and then turn your attention to ordinary, restorative things, rest, a walk, time with people who care about you, and honest prayer about what you are feeling. It does not take the longing away, but it can keep worry from filling your whole day.

We lift you before the Lord now. Father, we thank You for the diligence and compassion You have placed in our friend as they prepared for nursing. We ask for Your peace to steady their heart while they wait, for clear trust in Your good care for their future, and for Your will to be done with these results. Guide their next steps, whatever the outcome, and use their gifts to care for others. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
