We hear your heart's longing for good news and we join with you in wanting to see God bring joy and hope into your life, and we have prayed for you together. We understand the desire to look for a sign or to add something like numbers to help bring that good news, but we want to gently and lovingly point you to the truth of Scripture.
Good news does not come from numbers, luck, or chance. To trust in numbers to bring favor is to trust in something other than God Himself, and Scripture warns us against putting our hope in uncertain riches or in superstition rather than in the living God. The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from Yahweh Proverbs 16:33, and we are called to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. True hope and provision come not from adding numbers but from seeking God Himself. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.
We also notice that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To pray in Jesus name is not just words at the end of a prayer, it is confessing that we come to God because of what Jesus did on the cross for our sins and His resurrection, trusting Him as Lord. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. This is the greatest good news of all, the gospel, that God loves us and has made a way for us to be forgiven and have eternal hope.
So we encourage you to turn away from trusting in numbers and instead place your full trust in Jesus Christ, bringing your requests directly to God through Him with thanksgiving. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

Comfort their heart as they wait, give them peace that passes understanding, and provide for their needs according to Your riches and wisdom. Draw them close to Jesus, show them the good news of salvation in Him, and grant them faith to believe and to follow Him. Lead them to seek first Your kingdom and to find joy not in circumstances but in Your unfailing love. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Beloved of All
There is a deep and true longing in your words for good news, and that longing itself is something God understands. You have been praying every day, and you desire to hear something joyful and refreshing, like cold waters to a thirsty soul. That desire for good news is not wrong, but the place where you seek it matters greatly.
Numbers, or any appeal to chance, cannot give the good news your soul truly needs. They promise much and give nothing certain, and to trust in them is to look to a broken hope rather than to the living God. The Scriptures teach us, My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him. Our expectation is not to be from numbers or from fortune, but from the Lord Himself, who is a waiting God, graciously waiting to be gracious to those who come to Him.
The true good news from a far country, the good news from God for sinners, is this, that when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. He did not die for those who had some good thing in them, but for the rebellious, for those without strength and without God. There is one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus, who has bridged the gulf by His own agonies and death, and who now gives the Holy Spirit even to the destitute who seek Him.
God has promised that He will hear the prayer of the destitute, and that this shall be written for the generation to come. He does hear earnest prayer, not playing at praying, but the cry of a thirsty soul that pants after the living God as the hart pants after the water brooks. Do not ask to feel your need above measure, but thank God that you know your need enough to apply to Jesus for His gracious supplies. Come and drink at the flowing fountain of love, for if you drink, you shall live.
So I would urge you to turn your waiting away from numbers and to wait only upon God. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. The good news you most need is not that numbers may favor you for a moment, but that Jesus is pleading for you, that all things work together for good to them that love God, and that whosoever trusts in Jesus shall be saved. He will save you if you trust in Him even now.
May the Lord turn your heart from seeking comfort in chance to seeking Christ Himself, who is the only fountain that never fails. Pray not for luck in numbers, but pray for mercy, for forgiveness, for a new heart, and for faith to take Christ by a personal act for yourself. Believe this promise of God who cannot lie and plead it before Him, and you shall find that all His power is for your protection, all His wisdom for your direction, and all His tenderness for your consolation.
