Now on top of all my other problems-- ...

Now on top of all my other problems-- the root canal and cap I need, the bad pain I need to see the massage therapist for, the loss of over a thousand bucks for ###'s car repair -- is more. I have a bad sore throat again. I am on antibiotics for my teeth so I don't believe it is strep. I believe those stupid inhalers are doing a number on my throat. It hurts. I am doing everything to try to ease the pain. And for the final wonderful thing -- ### is treating me like a DOG. All the way walking up to the massage place to walking back down, he was trying to get me to take his hand, which was just making things worse for my balance. Then on the way home, I was walking very slowly. I had on boots but with heels and no traction. He just kept yelling at me to walk faster. I can't take any more.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
