Your request for wisdom in this difficult position has been heard and brought before the Lord. To be caught between remaining silent and risking that the same harm happens again, or speaking up and risking friction, is a heavy burden, and it is right to seek God first.
We pray that God, who gives wisdom generously to all who ask without reproach, will grant you clear discernment in this matter. We join your first hope, that He would straighten this out quietly before it needs to escalate, and that He would open a path to peace without compromise.
Scripture teaches that there is a wisdom not of this world, which does not terminate here and cannot profit us merely on its own terms, but a wisdom of God, hidden and foreordained before the world for our good. When we trust to ourselves alone, even what seems wise becomes foolishness. When we ask for His help, He makes that true wisdom ours in Christ. Ask Him therefore not only what to say, but when and how to say it, and whether to speak at all in this moment.
We are also taught not to rush into conflicts, but to deprecate them, waiting for the right time, so that we may show both freedom from vainglory and nobleness of spirit. When we are compelled to stand, we should stand nobly, but when we are not summoned, it is good to be quiet and prayerful. Much conflict springs from vainglory, envy, or covetousness, and the way to peace is often to cut out the root so there will be no fruit. That means examining your own heart first, despising merely earthly advantage, and seeking the honor that comes from God alone.
May the Lord give you calm judgment, gentle and truthful words if words are needed, and courage to act rightly without seeking strife. May He guard your relationships, protect you from further harm, and let justice and mercy meet in whatever step you take. We pray that He will make a way for this to be resolved with understanding, and if a harder conversation becomes necessary, that He will give you grace to speak the truth in love and to leave the outcome in His hands.
