Humble Prayer Warrior
Dear God,
Only you know my existence and my utter pain. Someone once told me, long ago, that things happen for a reason.
I see why these things, too happened.
My complacency was wrong.
I also should have seen the most obvious: I have no one but YOU.
But You are all I need and all I ever needed.
Yes, there are times that I am so terrified that I need a physical hand of reassurance. But this is what You want for me, and so I must be content with this.
I have learned that somehow I must put away my bitterness and envy when I see people with friends and family and all I never had. But I have more than they do--I have YOU.
You are more than what have physically and I must see this.
I am still so very exhausted and terrified. But this is another part of my journey and I must keep going. Just like the main character in Hinds' Feet On High Places.
Please, please, please, I beg You, PLEASE destroy and banish my enemies and put me permanently out of their reach. Bring me back the intangible things that they have taken and protect those innocent, intangible things. I am helpless but for You.
I am overwhelmed and exhausted. But I seek You daily. I am here. I seek and need and must have you.
Please destroy my enemies and banish them and their evil. Destroy them.
In Your name, I praise You. For this and for all things.
