We have continued to lift up before the Lord those who are being harassed and sleep deprived and tortured without end and who have simply not been given the chance to live quiet and simple lives. We have prayed for those who have suffered so deeply that they have choked in their distress and for all who have endured years of cruelty where their enemies have shown no mercy and given no opportunity for freedom. We have asked God to intervene with His mighty hand to bring protection and deliverance and rest before more lives are lost and to show the mercy and justice that only He can give. We cling to the promise that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit in Psalm 34:18 and that He sees every injustice and hears every cry for help.
